Wade didn't get very far with me because as soon as he took his shirt off, a quick blur knocked him down onto the ground. I jumped toward the side so Wade can fall forward and I looked up to see what just knocked him down. Dean Ambrose. He glanced at me, "You okay?" I didn't realize it until he asked but I'm absolutely not okay. I'm not okay with the fact that I was ambushed, I'm not okay with the fact that Wade Barrett, who I thought I was cool with, turned out to be such slime. I'm not okay with the fact that every time something starts get a little better for me, it goes to shit. I'm not even suppose to be in here. I'm suppose to be with April.
I shook my head and covered my face crying, "When am I ever okay?"
"Hey, hey come here.." Dean pulled me into a giant hug which is so unlike him. It took me completely by surprise but at this point, I don't care. I need more than a hug but a hug will just have to do. Besides, he's warm and smells good.
Dean stroked my hair, "Everything's got to you so worked up, Raya. That's so unlike you. You don't let shit get to you and now it's like, you let everything get to you. Keep talking, hold on."
Dean let go of me and quickly turned around. He had great timing to because Wade was just about to get back up and so Dean started stomping his boot into him over and over. As he did this, he spoke to me,"The Paige I know wouldn't have gotten involved in such a mess you know?"
"It all started when I fell in love with AJ. I don't know what it is about her that drives me wild but I'm so into her it's unreal. Girls for me are just hookups and I usually just get into relationships with guys but then AJ just skips her way into my heart and now she's like circling my mind. I don't know what to do."
Dean kicked Wade in the face knocking him out cold then picked up his IC belt, which was sitting on a crate to the side, and put it over his shoulder.
He breathed on it then wiped it as if he were shining it up then said, "I'm gonna fix this."
"How?"
He smirked, "A magician never reveals his secrets. Now come on, let's go explain why you didn't show up for tonight's match with her, okay?"
I sighed and followed him out with my head down. He quickly stopped, forcing me to do the same. He reached and put his finger under my chin to tilt my head up, "Chin up, princess. We wouldn't want that tiara to hit the ground, now would we?" I rolled my eyes at his smile.
We made it to AJ's locker room and I stopped at the door, staring at it.
Dean came up behind me and glanced between the door and I, "You got some type of magic or you gonna open it?"
"I'm scared. What if she's mad?"
"She's five foot two, I'm sure you can take her."
"Dean."
"Paige."
"Jonathan."
"Saraya."
I glared at him as he smiled. He kissed my cheek, "It'll be fine. Now go in."
We went in only to be greeted by Phil. He smiled at Dean and I, "What's up guys?"
"I thought you were at an UFC thing all week?" Dean asked.
He shook his head, "Got canceled so I thought I'd rack up some best husband points by surprising Ape."
"Well, where is she?"
"Shower..hey Dean? Can I talk to Saraya alone for a second?"
Oh god. Now, I'm terrified. Dean, please don't leave me alone with him. Please. Do not. Lea-
"Sure. I gotta go pack this up anyway," Dean tapped the belt he stole from Wade. "I'll be back."
I watched Dean leave while I screamed on the inside. Son of. I can't believe he just. UGHHHHHHHHH.
I turned around and looked at Phil who was scratching his head, covered by an UFC beanie. He looked nervous as hell.
"You look like you're about to melt, Phillip."
He laughed, "Not exactly but we really should talk...just not here. Let's walk."
With that, he opened the door and held it for me to walk out. I was hesitant and he laughed, "I promise I won't bite. Come on."
That's when I left AJ's locker room with her husband.
