Paige's POV:
A lot of buzz about AJ and I had gone viral which is a little overwhelming. Of course rumors are saying that we've been having an affair all this time behind Phil's. It's like paparazzi forget that wrestling was just storylines and AJ isn't really cheating on her husband...even though I wish she was. I shook my head pacing in my locker room. That's a terrible thought to have. "Looks like you get to be AJ's white knight," Emma said watching pace, "Bet you're happy." "It's just a storyline.." "But you wish it was more." "Emma-" "Saraya, there's nothing wrong with being in love. It's quite romantic." Santino chimed in. Good god. These two and their romance rubbish, I swear. "So we're going by real names now? Cool. Anthony, Tenille, I can handle April. It's just a storyline. I'm not in love with her."
But I am. I am so much it's ridiculous. I've never thought about girls in anything pass friendship until now. I don't have a problem with gays, gays are fabulous, but I'm just concerned if I am or not. Is that why it didn't work out with...well, him. As if I said his name aloud, I heard his voice. Banging on my door, I heard my ex-boyfriend yell, "Saraya, I need to talk to you!" I can tell he's drunk. I can always tell. Emma and Santino looked at me in shock, "Is that-" I nodded putting my finger to my lips for them to be quiet. I cleared my throat, "Well I'm busy preparing for tonight's match right now. Maybe you should talk to your wife." "Is AJ in there? Is that why you won't let me in?" "Um, maybe. That's not really any of your business now is it? Look why are you even here right now? You have a match to prepare for to. Guess you're not gonna do so well since you're drunk."
That's when he kicked the door open and walked in on his own. Bastard. He's also doing what he wants and that's another reason I broke up with him. He smiled at me as I glared at him then walked right up to me, "So, you and AJ? When'd that start?" I decided to play along as if AJ and I really were together, "Around the time you and I ended is when it started." "You broke my heart, darling." He twirled a piece of my dark hair with his fingers and I smacked his hand away, "Cry me a river, Seth." Seth chuckled, folding his arms, "Same ol' Saraya, tough on the outside, melting mess on the inside." "Same ol' Colby, a total asshole when he has an audience." I glanced at Santino and Emma, "I'll be back." I grabbed Seth's hand dragging him out of my locker room.
"No ones ever gonna love you just as much as I do, babe. That's truth." He slurred every single word and I shook my head, "If you say so, Rollins." "Heyyy, let's say you and I skip our matches, head back to the hotel room, and have a wrestling match of our own." The old Paige would've melted right in his hands and told him absolutely. That she loved him to and that they should be together. That no one, not even his wife, can stand in the way of that and he would've let me believe it. But I'm not that same young girl that I was in NXT. The one who had a huge crush on the first NXT champion, Seth Rollins. Thank god for that.
I shook my head, "Just exactly who do you think you are? You can't just ease your way back into my life." "You left me." "Because you are MARRIED, Seth. I couldn't live with the fact that I see your wife everyday here, as sweet as she is, and know that I'm banging her husband. If she found out we ever-" "She's not you. You're the one I want Paige." "I don't believe you." Seth looked around then back at me, "I'll prove it. I'm divorcing her, babe. I wanna be with you." "And I wanna be with AJ. I guess we just don't get what we want now, do we?" He frowned, "You're not gay, Saraya." "The term is bisexual, Colby." "Still...what's she got that I don't? I mean she's married. She's not bisexual. You two are just-" I decided to lie because I was irritated, "She feels the same. She's gonna leave Phil and be with me. We have our future planned out which is more than what you and I had." "But you're still mine." "I'm not." "Marry me."
I looked at him in shock,"Wh-what'd you say?" "Marry me." I watched him get down on one knee and pull out a box from his pocket. He opened it to reveal a diamond the size of England. I stared at it. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. He whispered slurring still, "Saraya Jade Bevis, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. I was an idiot before and I know I don't deserve your forgiveness but I need it. I took advantage of your crush on me back in NXT but baby if you marry me, it won't happen again. I love you so much. You're all I think about. I'm ready for our future to begin. We are the future, Saraya, I know it. Make me the happiest man alive and marry me. I want the whole world to see and know what you mean to me. I can't live another day without you by my side. So, will you?"
