The next morning Taehyung woke up to the sound of his alarm. He looked outside and the sky was still looking gloomy, but at least it had stopped raining. He stretched, thinking about how he hadn't had such a good sleep in a while and then the memories of the previous night started to resurface.

He felt his chest tightening at the memories of Jungkook, standing so close to him and looking at him with those eyes that contrasted so much with his initial perception. He then remembered the kiss and how he felt as if he was melting, their bodies fitting together and how soft Jungkook had treated him.

The alpha felt flustered, covering his face with his sleeves and he could almost hear his heartbeat as he squirmed on his bed, thinking how they had even cuddled on the couch, not really talking much.

That brought him to his next dilemma. Where did they stand now?

They were definitely not boyfriends. He couldn't deny his attraction to the elder but a big part of him was telling him it was most likely due to his hormones. They didn't really know much about each other and despite being a romantic, Taehyung wasn't much of a believer in love at first sight. He just wasn't sure what he was feeling, let alone what Jungkook felt.

Oh god, what if he misinterpreted the whole situation and Jungkook was just feeling bad about him?

After the kiss they really hadn't discussed anything and honestly, he didn't know if he wanted to. He was extremely confused at the moment. He had never been in this situation before and now he has no idea how to handle it.

It was too early for this.

Taehyung finally decided to simply ignore his thoughts as much as he could, trying to focus on his day. He walked out of his room, bear slippers on and a conviction to start a new day and maybe keep that energy past ten. He still needed to figure out some things and maybe if the weather allowed it, he could drop by Jungkook's house. He left in such a rush the previous day that he had completely abandoned all of his things there.

As he exited his room and walked towards the kitchen, he heard sounds coming from it. Was Jimin already awake?

Taehyung stopped, freezing in place as he was surely not expecting to see wild long hair and a broad back. Normally, he was used to seeing Jimin cooking, or if Yoongi was staying the night, he was used to seeing him too, but this for sure wasn't any of them.

"You're awake? Sit, breakfast is almost ready."

Oh. There it was again.

Taehyung felt himself lose his balance at the sound of Jungkook's morning voice as he saw him guiding himself through their small kitchen, taking out ingredients he didn't even know they owned. He really would never get used to that sound.

"Where are your plates?" He heard Jungkook calling and he had to shake himself off his daydream.

"Uh... third cabinet to the left above you." He said slowly, almost as if he had to map out his kitchen all over again.

The elder took out what he needed, before he carried a tray filled with food over to the small island they had, placing it in front of Taehyung and smiling.

Taehyung seemed skeptical, looking back and forth between the meal and the alpha. Not that there was anything wrong with the food but it actually looked good. Too good.

Amused, Jungkook chuckled, taking the chopsticks and mixing the food a little. "I didn't poison it or spit on it if that's what you're worried about." He raised the chopsticks to his own mouth before taking a bite and signaled over to the food.

Skepticism was written all over his face as the younger alpha raised an eyebrow, seeing as the elder handed him the chopsticks and for some reason, he just took them, not minding that he had used them and started poking the food. "You cook?" He tried to sound mildly interested, hiding the fact that he really wanted to try it, but didn't want to pass as desperate.
