"Alright, Taehyung. I've got your test results here and it seems like you're doing great. Better than I expected actually. I will suppose you have solved the issues between you and Jungkook and spent more time together. I wonder how that's going?" Seokjin slid over on his chair, placing the results on his table and looking up to stare at the alpha.

Taehyung chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his head and trying to avoid eye contact with the doctor. He was definitely right in something and that was that he had indeed been spending much more time with Jungkook. Up until recently that is.

It was hard not to think about… stuff, especially after that conversation he had with Jimin a week ago.

Jimin let out a sigh. He could tell Taehyung wasn't in the most comfortable position and that he was most likely aware of where this conversation was leading to. He knew it was new territory for his alpha friend, but he had to say something before misunderstandings happened. He hated watching those dramas where everything could've been solved if the main characters would just communicate.

He wasn't going to allow for his best friend's life to turn into a cheesy soap opera. Not on his watch.

He let out a soft sigh, pushing his books away and scooting to sit beside Taehyung. The alpha was looking down, fiddling with his own fingers.

"Tae, you know I love you with my entire soul. We've been through this before, but I really worry about you. I understand you're an adult and the last thing you need is for your omega friend to babysit you, but please try to understand I'm just concerned about you and your well being. I don't know what I would do if I saw you hurt knowing that I could've helped prevent it. I know you're a capable adult and can make your own choices, but I really just want to help you. And if a reality check is needed, I don't care if you get mad, I will be there the entire time."

Taehyung stayed silent, his body slightly leaned towards Jimin and resting over his shoulder without putting all of his weight on his friend. At least now he knew he wasn't mad.

"Thank you, Minnie. I really don't know what I would do without you." His voice was soft, almost as if he was afraid to speak.

Hugging him, Jimin closed his eyes, leaning in to place a small peck at the crown of the alpha's head. "It's really nothing, Taetae. I know you might not want to talk about it now, but the time will come when you have to be honest with yourself. And no matter what, I'll be there with you. Just please, I beg you, don't hurt yourself unnecessarily."

Taehyung was trembling slightly as he allowed the words to settle in. He was aware. He knew that he had to talk to Jungkook. He knew that he was being vague and that this wasn't meant to be taken as a game. This was his life, someone else's life, this wasn't just a one time thing, nor was it temporary.

What was it then?

Was he in love? With Jungkook? That couldn't be. They had known each other for a few months, but that was still not possible. He had to take into consideration his own condition and how that influenced both of them.

Was he really falling for him?

More importantly, was Jungkook feeling the same way?

The physical attraction was undeniable, and he wasn't going to fight that, but could all of this be summarised by simply saying that they were falling for each other. As a matter of fact, Taehyung wasn't very sure, but he wasn't against the idea either.

Jungkook had been nothing but a pain in the ass at first and sure, he was still annoying from time to time; with that shit eating grin and the neverending teasing, Jungkook was a calamity with feet, but he was also… good in a way. He'd treated him right and after they had cleared things up, he had never once raised his voice at him or seriously gotten into an argument with him since. He often showed genuine concern and even interest over his well being and never failed to ask him how he was doing. Actually, for the most part, if he excluded the hell driven cockiness, he would say that Jungkook was a decent person and quite nice and caring if he wanted to.
