Meteor shower(noun)

A meteor shower is a celestial event in which a number of meteors are observed to radiate.

"I watched the meteor shower last week"

There is nothing better than living the moment you were dying to see.

As if icing to a cake and clouds to the sky, it was just.

Perfect.

Everything seemed happy, it was an unexplainable feeling of longing, hope and excitement, It was finally the day.

Neither of the two boys could wait any longer. It was a moment of a lifetime after all, a long awaited day, something they have been dying to see, it was just as nerve wracking as any pleasant surprise. As if fate was tied to their feelings, soon night fell, and it was time for them to leave.

"Be safe," Ms Helena advised, pushing Celeste's wheelchair. Zephyr pushed the wheelchair the rest of the way, waving to Ms Helena.

If anything, there wasn't blood, there was excitement flowing through their nerves. They took the short way, choosing the park as a place to watch the shower.

Celeste hadn't seen the place for quite a while now, and entering it made him sulk with nostalgia.

The shower started in 30 minutes, so they decided to kill the time. They walked into a diner and sat down by the window. "What can I get for you?" The waitress asked, flipping through the server notepad.

"Vanilla milkshake, please." Zephyr answered.

"Make that two." Celeste added glancing out the window. Zephyr tapped his fingers on the table. The rhythm of the beat was weirdly going in sync with the thoughts running through Celeste's mind.

The waitress came back with two large vanilla milkshakes with whipped cream and cherries on top.

Celeste's brown eyes lit up. "Enjoy!" The waitress exclaimed then walked away. Zephyr grabbed one then slid the other one to Celeste.

The blonde boy smiled and grabbed the milkshake, sliding the straw in his mouth, excitement filled his face.

Zephyr pulled out his camera and clicked a picture of Celeste.

He smiled and took a sip of his. It was quiet but the flavors of the milkshake and the company of one another was just enough.

15 minutes to spare, Even though they could've used the wheelchair, Zephyr gives Celeste a piggy back ride to the park across the abandoned building. "Hey Z."

"Yeah?"

"The swings."

Zephyr walked toward the set of swings, covered in rust, he placed Celeste on one and sat on the one beside it. "I used to come here with my dog all the time," Zephyr said.

"You did?" Celeste smiled

"yeah"

Celeste chuckled, "did you chew gum earlier?"

"Yeah why?" Zephyr asked.

"Your breath smells like strawberries," The blonde boy remarked.

"Yeah, it's new, I had never had it before," Zephyr said.

Celeste sighed, "I've never had them before either, I wonder how they taste."

The air got cooler and the winds got stronger.

Celeste spoke quietly but formed the words, "Thank you.."

Zephyr stated softly as his feet lifted from the ground, "Thank you more.." He whispered under his breath.
