The chirping of birds outside echoed through the room, breaking Zephyr's state of calm. He rubbed his eyes as he sat up, letting go of the blanket. Zephyr glanced around the room, to see he was the only one there.

The ticking of the clock attracted his attention towards it. 8:30.

Celeste had been gone for a while then, he sat on the bed not trying to stress. His body felt weightless and there weren't butterflies in his stomach, those were damn cockroaches. As he sat there wishing for Celeste to return, the door creaked open. "Z?"

Zephyr jumped, it was Celeste on his wheelchair, finally! He walked towards the blonde boy who was now thin as ever and looked weaker than a petal. "You're fine oh my god, you're fine Celeste, you're fine..." Zephyr muttered under his breath.

Helena, who was pushing the wheelchair, smiled "We'll dismiss him in a week if he shows signs of a healthy recovery." Both the boys smiled.

However Celeste's smile seemed forced. Zephyr didn't question it, just how he hadn't been questioning Celeste's weight loss and weakness over the past few weeks.

A few days had passed, Zephyr stayed with Celeste the whole time.

The sun shonek through the curtains and everybody was awake.

"Can I take him to the park?" Zephyr asked.

"Sure, but go to the park on hospital grounds, it's on the east wing." Ms. Helena remarked.

"Children's playground?" Celeste asked in a trembling voice.

"Yup! Deal with it." Ms. Helena winked, "I'll be leaving, call for me if you need."

As the door closed, the boys were alone again, but together. Zephyr's cheeks hurt from smiling "I'm so glad it's over." he said.

"Yeah..me too!" Celeste cheered.

They both shared a comforting silence, just like they used to earlier when they had first met. There was nothing better than being there, having each other.

"You look pretty pale," Zephyr pointed out.

Celeste avoided looking towards Zephyr "I guess it's because of those surgeries, I've grown brittle, but at least they got rid of the tumor."

Zephyr chuckled, "Well, don't worry Celeste, it won't be a problem anymore"

"Yeah."

"We're gonna be together now."
"Just like stars in the sky-"

"Zephyr..."

"Yeah?"

"Nevermind."

Zephyr was happy, very happy. He couldn't Express how he felt he was so happy. There was nothing stopping them now, it was all over, everything was fine, there they were together in one room, once again.
