I opened my eyes and blinked in shock. Why was I here? Surely I was dreaming, right? I tried to pinch myself, but my arm wouldn't move. Is this what happens in dreams? I pondered this for a little while, until a girl loped towards me. As she came near I gulped. I tried to call out but nothing happened.

"Don't resist." Rebecca's voice echoed in my mind. I decided to trust her.

"Hi, I'm Bec." The girl's blonde ponytail bobbed as she chattered. "Well, actually I'm Rebecca, but everyone calls me Bec."

"I'm Charlie." I said, against my will. Then I realised what was happening. Somehow I was reliving the start of year 9.

"Do you know where room 4.9 is?" Bec questioned with a raise of her eyebrow. "I'm lost."

I replied apologetically. "Sorry, I'm new here. I'm trying to find 7.7."

"Oh. Well, see you around?"

"Sure."

She galloped off, turning back to wave at me before she climbed a flight of stairs.

I sighed inwardly. She was almost as cute back in year 9!

I found my eyes closing as I turned and walked away.

'That was when we first met.' I heard Rebecca's voice in my head, and jumped, as everything went black.

'Were you an angel back then?' While thinking it, I visualised saying that question.

After a long pause I heard Bec again.

'Wow!' She said, and paused again. 'How... how did you do that?' She paused again. 'No human should be able to do that.'

'You heard me?' I thought, but all I heard was silence.

Gradually, unconsciousness washed over me.

A/N: Before anyone asks any questions, Dove Cameron is not part of the 'cast', this is just how I imagine Bec as a schoolgirl.
