Hi guys,

Sorry it's been a while, I've had the worst writers block.
Please comment on any mistakes I make, it's greatly appreciated so I can go back and edit.

The image attached is Brielle.

This chapter is dedicated to ottomus for the character suggestion.

~Third person~

"Ottomus! Come here right now!"

Brielle yelled at her only nephew, the 6 year old elf who was currently running around the castle shooting arrows at delicate objects, smashing them and causing mayhem. He had received a bow and arrows for his birthday a few days ago, and ever since then he had been running around the castle practicing his shooting.

"What?" Ottomus complained. "I was in the middle of something."

"Yes. Something you weren't meant to be doing. Get out of your pjs and into something more presentable, as the heir to the kingdom it is your responsibility to greet all the guests."

"Fine." Ottomus stomped up the stairs grumpily, mumbling under his breath.

He reached his bedroom, and changed into some brown shorts and a white t-shirt, which he tucked in. He slung his bow over his shoulder and combed his platinum blonde hair. He slipped into some brown Vans, and slid down the banister to where his aunt was waiting. However, she wasn't alone.

Becca, the angel he had become good friends with over the past couple of months, was speaking with Brielle, and looked quite worried.

Brielle spoke first. "What's wrong?"

"It's Charlie. I put him in another flashback, but I'm worried. It seems he can control them. What if he changes the past? Could it even work? Humans aren't meant to be able to control, or even be conscious during the flashbacks. It's meant to seem like a dream. What does that mean? Does that mean he's not human? Wouldn't I have noticed if he wasn't human?"

"Bec, you're rambling again. Calm down, and tell me what's going on."

Becca took a few deep breaths, and sat down, speaking much slower. "You know how I put Charlie in a flashback, to explain things to him? Well, after the first flashback, I started talking to him, explaining. He replied. He shouldn't be able to do that. He's a human. Humans aren't meant to be able to do that. Why can he do that? What if he isn't human? Surely I would know if he isn't human. What does this mean for us?"

"Stop rambling. Bec, it's going to be okay. Please continue."

"Well anyway, that was why I brought him to you in the first place. This morning, I put him in another flashback, the memory where I learnt about angels, the memory of one of my dreams. Then I noticed he was conscious. He shouldn't be conscious. What do I do?"

Brielle sighed, and put her head in her hands. "To be honest, I have no idea."
