I have finally updated,

Some of my readers have been getting impatient so I needed to find some time, however this story is now on 500 reads, how could I not thank all of you for that?

So here's a chapter, it's not very long as it's 12 am, but it's always something.

I'm really tired so excuse any spelling/grammar mistakes :)

This chapter may be short, but it's definitely my favourite! Although I do feel it's a bit risky especially since I have no idea where this story is going and if I change my mind later on then it'll be too late. Please comment on whether you think that I made the right choice or not.

As the event dawned on me, I could guess that I was now as pale as chalk.

I looked around to see everyone with deep fear in their eyes.

I looked around, but could not see anything unusual.

Then it happened again, a branch snapped. But this time it seemed a bit odd.

It sounded further away, it was also much more instant. As if rather than creeping up, it was now running away.

My chest tightened with worry.

Without a second thought, I felt in my pocket for any weapon and found a knife.

By now all eyes were on me as I launched towards the direction of the noise. Adrenaline pumped through my veins as my heartbeat muffled out any noises of the others screaming after me.

I never felt so powerful in my life. As I was sprinting forward, knowing that there was a creature cowering away. For once in my life, I felt in control. It felt good.

The air blew my hair backwards and I felt powerful.

I came to a sudden stop.

Something was not right.

We reaches the stream and we still haven't been attacked by any creatures, if anything then they were the ones scared of us.

There was definitely something wrong. Something very wrong.

I must have been about 3 minutes away from the others by now. I could have sworn that they began chasing me straight away, how did I outrun them?

Now that I thought about it carefully, there were so many questions.

Why was I the only one to constantly hear noises before something major happened?

Why was I so much stronger than the others in my group?

I knew something was wrong from the beginning, I always pushed my doubts into the back of my mind.

But now I was beginning to panic.

There was so much not explained yet.

But right now, for some reason, my biggest priority was to discover the answers.

I turned around away from the direction in which I came from.

I felt as though I couldn't trust anybody now.

I decided to work out the answers alone.

After taking my first step away from the group, I decided that I was doing the right thing. I would separate myself from the others.

OMGOMGOMG

Okay, so the thing is that I'm not sure where I'm going with this story, I have no idea why she can do all these amazing things quite yet.

Question for all the readers:

Who do you think should play the main character? (I haven't written for so long that I've forgotten her name, I think it was Julia or something)

If you have not yet voted or commented on this story, and you enjoy it, then please do so! It would mean a lot.
