On that note we just left the courts and headed to school. Joey and Book walked 3 steps ahead of me and Mouth, we were arguing over who the better batter was out of the two of us. "Clearly it's me! You couldn't hit a homer even if your life depended on it!!" I said with a wide grin. Mouth shook his head and said "Really wanna bet?" I let out a huge laugh which made Book turn around.

"What the hell are you two on about?" Mouth was about to tell him what we were talking about but I was still laughing so hard I had a stitch. By now we had reached the front of the school and we all stopped. "See you's at lunch okay boys!" I said smiling, as I walked away. "See ya D" they all chimed, and Mouth added "Second best batter!" I could hear him laughing, so I kept walking and just flipped him off.

I had English first and I'm pretty sure they guys had math. I would be in the same year as them but my mom and dad started me early, so I'm the same age as them just the year above them in school.

I walked into the classroom and made my way to the back where I usually sit. I don't have many friends in my year other then maybe 3, but we aren't as close as I am with Mouth, Joey and Book. "How was your break D.J?" said a voice in front of me, I look up and see that it's Deena, she and I became friends at the start of last year when she transferred from her old school. I smiled and replied "Oh hey Deena! My break was good how was yours?" She grinned and went on about how her family and her went to New Zealand to visit relatives and how they went skiing everyday. She stopped and looked at me and asked "What did you do D?"

Deena rested her elbows on the edge of my desk and waited for me to answer her question. I took a moment to take in all the excitement of her holiday and thought about how my break could never top what she did. I looked into her eyes gazing at me as if to get the story herself just by looking at me. I opened my mouth to speak and said "I Just stayed here and hung with Mouth and the guys and played baseball as much as we could" For some reason she giggled and repeated what i had said. "Just hung with them hey?" I was confused on what she had ment but before i could ask her, our teacher had walked in and she turned around still silently giggling to herself.
