Get You Back [Completed]

Prologue

"This is the contract. All you have to do is sign at the bottom and this will all be over. My friend is going to drop off the goods in your backyard by midnight."

Pavel was seated in a posh restaurant on the rooftop of a five-star hotel and resort in Boracay, Philippines. He was finishing a deal with the Japanese Mafia.

"Looks good," tipid na sagot ng kausap nitong Japanese.

They were four on the table. He was alone while the head of the Japanese Mafia brought his bodyguard and lawyer.

"We do business well," Pavel assured them.

"I'll sign it," announced the Japanese head wearing a suit in this hot island.

He was just in a white shirt and beach shorts dahil hindi niya maatim ng magsuot ng iba. The beach and the weather was just too good not to be enjoyed.

He couldn't wait to finish this meeting and enjoy the beach and the women. He badly needs to get laid after this. It was supposed to be Adrian's meeting pero may inasikaso itong mas mahalagang bagay sa Roma. His woman.

That's why he vowed never to fall in love. Nakaka-istorbo lamang ang mga babae. He wants to enjoy his life to the fullest until he dies.

He never met his mother so he didn't know what it was like having a woman close to him, having a woman to bear his feelings to. He only had his friends and cousins from the Mafia Family he belongs to - the Denaro-Sokolov clan, the biggest Mafia in all of Europe.

"Done," balita ni Yuki, ang lawyer ng kabilang panig.

"Perfect! This calls for a celebration!" sagot niya.

"Waitress!" tawag ni Yuki sa pinakamalapit na waitress sa table nila.

Pavel was checking the contract to see if the Japanese head has signed all pages.

"What can I get you, sirs?" came the sweet, melodic voice. But it had some hints of sultriness in it, with an accent that seems to be too European than Asian. However, what scared him the most was the fact that the voice was oh-so familiar.

So he looked up to check the owner of the voice.

"Katerina," gulat na gulat na bati ni Pavel sa babae.

The woman was equally shocked to see him that she stepped back a bit from the table. She looked ready to run away any minute now.

Her hair was longer, definitely longer than when he last saw her. Her hair created waves as it ran past down her shoulders to her full bosom now. And she was even more beautiful than the last time he saw her.

"We would like a bottle of champagne," Yuki said, interrupting their sudden union.

"R-Right away, sir," she quickly responded. "That's all?"

"And serve us all your best meals," utos naman ng Japanese Mafia head na katapat ni Pavel.

"Coming right up," she said in a fake jolly voice before walking away as fast as she could.

Pavel was stoned, looking after the retreating figure of the woman he never thought he would see again.

That fucking woman was here all along!

His stepsister is still alive? But what is she doing here? He left her in a deserted island along the coast of Borneo near Indonesia. How come she was here? It can't be. She can't return to Italy. She can't know that their father left her a huge amount of money before he died.

That bastard- his father Alfonso!  He was his only son by blood but he halved his wealth between him and that woman, his father's stepdaughter!

So to protect his father's wealth from years ago, he did the one thing he thought he wasn't capable of - he threw her away to the Eastern side of the world.

His phone rang all of a sudden. It was Konstantin.

He quickly picked up the phone to check what was up.

"You finally found her. Congratulations," his friend's voice said on the other line.

"You fucking idiot. You sent me here because you knew!"

"I did. And now, you need to follow her. You need to know more about her. Trust me, it will be to your benefit."

"You're an asshole if you think I would bring her back."

Konstantin laughed on the other line. "Believe me. If you know everything about her, you would be the one dying to bring her back in Italy as soon as possible."

That got him curious. He didn't know what Konstantin meant but he will surely discover soon. He will catch her in a bit!

A/N: Hi guys. I know I was gone for a loooong time. PROBABLY A MONTH. Hahaha!!! But here's a quick update on this story. I'll be focusing on writing this for the next few weeks para may updates kayo na mabasa frequently. Do let me know if excited na kayo sa kwento ni Pavel. 

Pavel is more of the quiet type in the Sokolov gang. He's the legal brains behind this Mafia family and I want to give the happiness he needs. He's often brooding and masungit. But we'll see how he transforms as time goes by.
