Three months later....

"Huwag kang lalayo masyado!" sigaw ni Katerina kay Paulo na ngayon ay nagtatakbo muli sa beachside ng boutique resort nila. 

"Ako na ang bahalang magbantay. Mag-relax ka na lang diyan, hija," wika ni Aling Nena na ngayon ay sumunod na sa bata. 

"Salamat, Aling Nena. Paulo, dahan-dahan!" pahabol pang sigaw niya.

Katerina went back to the Philippines with Paulo. They were now staying in Coracasa Bed and Breakfast, a small luxury boutique resort in Boracay. Tapos na ang summer at hindi na peak season kung kaya't kakaunti na lamang ang guests at nakakapagpahinga siya ngayon.

It has been three months since Pavel bought the resort for them - for her and Paulo. It was a hideaway spot and a place for her to recover matapos nitong malaman ang tungkol kay Paulo at matapos ng kaguluhang ginawa niya sa pagtakas sa sarili nilang kasal sa Italy.

But it also has been three months since she has seen him. Hindi ito nagparamdam o sumulat man lamang simula ng ipahatid siya nito on a chartered plane pabalik sa Pilipinas. But he kept her bank account loaded.

So now, she busied herself with a book habang nakaupo sa daybed na nakaharap sa dagat. It was still eight in the morning at hindi pa ganoon kasakit ang sikat ng araw sa balat so she decided to lounge in front of the sea and just... relax for a while.

But lately, her thoughts would always go back to him. He didn't even bother calling. It has been three months at wala siyang narinig mula rito. All she could was to ask news about him from Natasha who was now her close friend simula ng magtago siya sa bahay nito.

She quickly turned her attention back to the book and sighed.

"Who told you to wear a red bikini and lounge here alone?" The voice was deep and demanding.

Natigilan si Katerina sa boses na iyon. She turned around to search for the source of the voice and she couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"Y-you're here," hindi makapaniwalang wika niya.

"I am," Pavel answered and smiled. "I figured I needed a break. All I did was work the last few months or so. I can use a few days to just be with... my son."

And Katerina felt her heart do a double take. She missed him! Oh, how she missed him. He was just in a white button down shirt and khaki shorts which accentuated his long legs and height. His tanned skin was glowing under the sun as he walked towards her.

When he was standing beside her daybed, he looked at her from head to toe. "Going back to the red bikini, I think it's a crime for you to be seen in that in broad daylight."

"What's it to you?" 

"For one, your breasts look amazing. And two, I would want to be alone with you right now."

Her jaw dropped at his sudden declaration kung kaya't napatingin siya kung malayo ba sa kanila sina Aling Nena at ang anak nila. Yes, Paulo was far pero ngayon ay patakbo na itong pabalik nang makita ang ama.

"Papa!!!" masayang-masayang sigaw ng bata habang humahangos palapit sa kanila.

"Paulo," he greeted his son back and ran towards him as well.

Kitang-kita ni Katerina ang higpit ng yakap ni Pavel sa bata. He scooped him up and gave him a tight embrace at pagkatapos ay dinampian ng halik sa tuktok ng ulo.
