The fire crackled in the background as Midoriya laid beside it.

The TV played in the background about the sudden weather phenomenon.

due to the freezing temperatures mist has fallen all across japan, but that wasn't all. intense winds going over 40 mph caused the rain to cool down rapidly and due to the already freezing temperatures it began to snow...
but with the snow came a 4.6 scale earthquake...

Meteorologists have absolutely no clue how all of this managed to go down within 5-10 minutes, according to them it isn't scientifically possible. they're suspecting its a strong quirk behind this but this now leaves the question, why would anyone do that..?
Is this some kind of display of power from a villain, or is this a warning that something horrible is about to dawn upon all of japan...?

well, that was if they could trace the quirk back to midoriya...

"he had to have such a dramatic reaction to Toya leaving, tch. I won't let him get caught, then I'd have to pay more than what I can even afford...

Toya thought to himself as he trekked through icy snow. He had to coat his feet in fire to get through it, while it did burn, it was better than slipping and getting hurt.

guilt welled in his stomach as he thought of all the possible things that could be happening to midoriya because of his "selfish" decision. He wanted to go back and take him with him but he knew he just couldn't...
he could hardly take care of himself, he didn't want to drag midoriya into his own mess.

Midoriya looked around, it was completely dark. He could only see his own hands and body but that was pretty much it. he exhaled, a puff of steam escaped with his breath as he shivered in place.

"this is all endeavor's fault...
if he weren't such a horrible person, toya's mom wouldn't have gone crazy... Toya wouldn't have been driven insane by how he was living..
he wouldn't have run away.

all of this just because he wants to force shoto to become a hero...
