He had a detention.
Aizawa had to use the bathroom so he left him alone for a bit.
"Okay, I have the replacement file in my vault.
I know where the real file is.
All I have to do to swap their spots with a simple teleport" Midoriya thought to himself as he stared at the file.
He teleported the real file into his vault and placed the fake file that was completely identical back exactly how the real file was placed.
"Perfect.
Now Aizawa won't know if the file has been stolen until too many days have passed for it to lead it to being me." He thought to himself.
Aizawa shortly came back in, he glanced at the file.
"Still there?
Would've expected him to try and steal it now.
He has a plan.
Whatever, I want to go home"
"your detention is over.
Let's go" Aizawa instructed.
Midoriya nodded his head as he got up and followed Aizawa out.
Next day-.
"Day 2.
The spy hero hasn't been found yet.
This is a new record." Aizawa said sarcastically.
"Run an investigation during your free period or lunch.
Whoever the spy is hasn't stolen the file yet.
Anyways, In 2 weeks the annual sports festival will be held. I want you all to train hard and prepare." Aizawa instructed before moving on with his lesson.
Free period came by fast, the class was running an investigation...
Together.
"Isn't it a bad idea for us all to work together?
I mean one of us is the spy." Kaminari asked.
"Yeah but this'll pressure them to come out of hiding."
"But if it doesn't you're just giving them hints on what not to do"
"This is stupid."

Despite their efforts, the class couldn't remain banded together to figure out who the spy was.
Bakugo, Midoriya, todoroki, kaminari, kirishima, and Sero were all in the library.
It was a nice place to be at since it was quiet and no one usually bothered anyone else.
"The sports festival is coming up" bakugo began.
"I'm excited!!
And nervous..." Kaminari nervously cheered.
Midoriya and todoroki had no comment on the situation.
"I'm excited too!!
We'll be able to fight everyone in the other classes!!
Not to mention, whoever wins first place gets a free trip to I-Island! And exposure!" Kirishima smiled brightly.
"I-Island?" Midoriya commented.
"You haven't heard of I-Island?! It's a man made island that's completely tech! It moves around the ocean to keep from threats to come on since some of the world's best gear and scientists come from there!"
"Interesting"
"How's that all you have to say for anything" Sero cried.
Midoriya shrugged his shoulders once more and packed his things up. Free period was almost over.
"Man I'm totally going to fail next period..." Kaminari cried.
