*OUTSIDE THE MYSTIC GRILL*
S1E15 'A Few Good Men.'

"So is there anything fun to do around this place?" I asked Jeremy.

"Well, there's founders day celebrations like all the time and since I am a Gilbert I have to go to all of them." He jokingly bragged.

"And are they fun?"

"No, but there are still town events." I laughed.

"Well, I meant that I wanted something actually fun to do like a lake or parties."

"Not really my scene." I laughed.

"Now you sound like some emo kid."

"Maybe I am some emo kid." He rose his eyebrows at me.

"Wait, how old are you."

"I am freshly 16. And how old are you my new mystery friend who I don't even know the name of?"

"I am 16 and a half if we're being specific and the name is Adeline." Well I mean I'm not exactly 16 but he doesn't need to know that.

"Nice to meet you Adeline, but unfortunately we have reached my humble home and if I don't go in now my aunt and sister are going to have every piece of information on you from the place you were born to your shoe size." I found myself laughing yet again.

"Not very likely I'm very mysterious." He grinned stepping closer.

"I happen to like a good mystery."

"Good, maybe you can figure me out."

I reached up and gave Jeremy a light kiss on the lips once I pulled away I walked away.

"What that's it." I turned around continuing to walk backwards.

"You forget I'm a mystery." I giggled and walked away.

I couldn't help but smile to myself walking away this is not something I had planned to happen but I welcomed it. Jeremy was nice and human, he was human. I groaned bringing my hands up to my face, I need to stay away. I could hurt him.

*IN THE GILBERT HOUSE*

"Who was that?" Jenna questioned her nephew the second he walked through the door.

"Just a friend," Jeremy answered keeping it short and then he groaned at his idiocy.

"What is it?" His aunt questioned.

"I didn't get her number." She couldn't help but laugh at him. "I'm sure you'll see her around."

"I hope. Hey, where's Elena?"

"Stefan's she's going to that weird bachelor thing tonight which is where I'm headed now so don't do anything stupid while I'm gone," Jenna answered while grabbing a bag.

"K, bye."

"Bye."
