"How do I look?" I asked turning to look at myself in the large 6 foot tall mirror.
"Like you tryna get pregnant." Kenny mumbled as he licked his lips.
I laughed smacking his arm as he opened the door.
"We're staying at Toni's tonight, so I'll see you tomorrow." Kenny said to Mariah who sat on the carpet eating pizza.
"Why?" Mariah frowned, "can't y'all just come back home? Aunty Kendall's gonna make me eat broccoli!" She grimaced as if she were already picturing it.
"Good. I hope you turn green." Kenny scolded.
Mariah's mouth fell open in disbelief as she stared up at Kenny. I silently laughed.
"I'll take good care of her." Kendall chuckled.
"And I'm gonna take good care of you, if you know what I mean." Kenny smirked winking at me.
"Oh my god." I groaned walking out.
Kenny came around and opened my door for me making me smile. I placed my hand into his as he led me upstairs. I immediately gasped, it was beautiful. We were on a rooftop that over looked the entire city. I had never been to this restaurant before, it must've been new. The waiter came up to us as Kenny spoke to him before he led us through the crowd towards our table that was separated from everyone else's. There were rose petals along the ground making me sigh in awe.
"Ken." I cooed as he pulled out my chair and allowed me to sit.
"You like it?" He smiled.
"I do." I cooed again.
"Good. I had this done just for you."
"What?!" I gasped looking around.
I hadn't even paid attention to how beautiful everything was set up. He had soft RnB playing in the background making my heart warm, he knew I loved me some Anita Baker.
"You didn't have to." I pouted placing my hand down on his cheek, "but I love that you did." I leaned over and kissed his lips.
Our dinner went by so smoothly, we were laughing and telling each other stuff we never even knew about one another. I wiped the sides of my mouth with my napkin as our waiter took away our empty plates. Once I placed my napkin down on the table Kenny immediately took my hands into his and let out a deep breathe.
