"Oh thank god!" I let out a breathe of relief as I watched my stock come rolling into my store.
"We apologize for the 20 minute delay there was traffic."
"It's okay. I'm just glad you guys are here." I said grabbing my clipboard, "Brandy!" I called waving her over to the 3 dozen boxes.
"Toni."
I immediately turned around and frowned. Bruno stood before me with a bouquet of red roses.
"I am not doing this with you today-"
I said turning around but he quickly grabbed my arm just as I did.
"Wait! Please hear me out." He said.
I handed my clipboard over to Brandy and folded my arms across my chest.
"You have 5 minutes." I groaned just ready to have him get over this.
"I was wrong. I was so wrong for the way I showed up at your engagement party, but you're my girl. You were mine and he just came along one day and you just changed on me like that-"
"Bruno-"
"I ain't done." He sighed pulling a little box out of his pocket.
"Bruno!" I scolded.
I was not gonna allow him to pull a 'Will you marry me?' on me. He opened the box and I frowned.
"An orange Urus just for you." He smiled holding the key out to me.
"I can't- I won't take that." I held my hand out.
"Toni!" He gasped, "this used to be our thing. Expensive gifts, dinners in foreign countries-"
"You don't give up do you?" I groaned shaking my head.
"No. And I won't- just please take me back!"
Just then my eyes widened once my attention fell on Kenny who was standing at the door.
"Ken-"
"I've had quite enough of you." Kenny said walking up to us as Bruno turned around and faced him.
"Officer-"
Kenny immediately sent a blow to his face. Both me and Brandy gasped as my eyes grew wider and before I knew it Kenny sent another blow and another one and another one, I immediately interfered once Bruno began to fight back. The two almost had an entire wrestling match in my store. I grabbed Bruno's shoulders and pushed him away from Kenny.
