Voices were shouting and screaming as they ran to find shelters and help, protecting themselves from the fire and collapsed buildings in the city of Mondstadt. Flames were eating and crunching down the stoned buildings and houses in skeletals. "Evacuate the citizens! Bring them to the safe place!" standing in front of the Knights of Favonius headquarters, the Calvary Captain ordered the knights in front of him. The knights saluted him and moved their legs, following their captain's order. A strong wind suddenly hit him and he looked up onto the sky and saw the Outrider of the Knights of Favonius was flying towards him using her beautiful shiny glider.

She carefully landed on the land and ran towards him. "Sir Kaeya! It's no good! The Abyss is now attacking the front gate. The knights are trying to handle them but they are way stronger!" Amber reported him. Kaeya clenched his jaws. He stressed out.

"Have you found Master Jean?" he asked her.

Amber shook her head. "I'm sorry but I didn't," Amber replied. Kaeya frowned. Just where is she? Kaeya turned to Amber.

"We should go to the front gate now," Kaeya said. Amber nodded and started to jumped from the platform and started to glide to the Mondstadt's front gate. Kaeya turned and jumped down to the lower ground from the headquarters and started to run. Two hilichurls were running towards him and he had no choice but to grab his sword. A red hilichurl, holding a fire torch, jumped on him while pointing out he fire towards him. Kaeya lowered himself to dodge before kicked its head using his left leg while his hand lunged his sword to the other hilichurl. The red hilichurl was thrown away by Kaeya's strong kick across the stoned wall, unable to move. Kaeya then jumped and backflipped to dodge another attack from the other hilichur before stabbing it in the middle of its back.

Kaeya took a deep breath when suddenly he heard a child's scream. His eyes widened and moved his legs, catching up the scream. When he arrived, he saw a mitachurl was grabbing a little girl's hair, dragging her on the ground, near the fountain. Without wasting anymore time, he jumped down and dashed towards the mitachurl. He drew his sword and forcefully stabbed the mitachurl's abdomen, making it cried in pain. The mitachurl dropped the girl on the hard stoned ground. Kaeya then took out his pierced sword from the mitachurl's abdomen and jumped onto of his head, before did another stabbing on its head. A loud thud was heard before him as the mitachurl fell down on the ground. Kaeya turned and ran to the girl. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" he asked, while holding the little girl's hand. The little girl didn't answer but continued to sob loudly. Clearly, she was so scared with the current situation.

"Sir Kaeya!' someone called him out. Kaeya turned to the voice and saw a familiar figure ran towards him.

"Huffman!" Kaeya called him out.

"Sir! We've located Master Jean's whereabout. She's near the Windrise. Someone reported there were few ruin guards were sighted, so Master Jean and her few knights went there to stop them," Huffman reported.

Kaeya sighed heavily, relived to know Jean's whereabout. "Thank you, Huffman. Can you please take this girl to the safe place?" he said. Huffman nodded and carried the little girl on his back and started to run. Kaeya moved his legs to the front gate and saw a whole chaos. Numbers of hilichurls and knights were fighting on the bridge. Dead bodies scattered all around the place.

"Sir Kaeya! Look out!" said a voice. Kaeya turned to his back and saw a hilichurl was jumping towards him. As he was about to draw his sword, a sudden spear pierced perfectly into the hilichurl's body. A cold mist suddenly grew on the bridge.

"What a mess. They even dare to attack the holy cathedral," said a familiar voice. Kaeya looked up and saw a maroon-haired woman with a long black and red veil on her back. She lowered herself and took her spear from the hilichurl before kicked it on the head. "Lord Barbatos is not pleased with this you know," she said to the dead hilichurl.

"Wow. It's my first time to hear you call Barbatos' name correctly, Rosaria," Kaeya said, grinning. Rosaria rolled her eyes. "Thank you," Kaeya continued. Kaeya was about to walk to the battlefield when suddenly Rosaria stopped him.

"Don't waste your time. I believe you already know Master Jean's whereabout. Go. Eula and I will take care of this place," she said. He peeked her back and saw Eula was swinging her big claymore, throwing the hilichurls  onto the air. Kaeya nodded as another thank and started ran through the bridge and to Windrise.

Thick clouds blotted the dark horizon, dripped down cold droplets of rain. The wind was icy and withering, hitting the woman's face. Her once beautiful blue outfit was now stained dirty with blood and dirt. She hissed lowly as the rain touched her wounded cut on her cheeks. Her breath was getting heavier and heavier every second and her vision was uncleared. She glanced to her left, seeing her knights were fighting for their lives to protect their beloved home. Her breath stopped as she heard an automatic mechanic sound from her front. Slowly, she looked up and saw a giant ruin guard was approaching her. She who was still laying flat on her stomach, forced herself to stand on the ground, using her Favonius Sword as support.

Once she got herself on her two feet, she clenched hard her sword. As she was about to move, she fell down on the ground once again. She screamed in pain while clenching hard her bleeding left leg. The ruin guard's footsteps were clear heard from. She lifted her head and found the ruin guard was only metres away. It started to lifted both its mechanic hands and as it was about to spin, a sudden fire red phoenix hit it and flew it far across the land. The ruin guard made a loud noise as the fire burnt its metal and wooden skins and soon after, it stopped moving.

The Phoenix. Could it be... she was about to turned her head to find the source of the fire phoenix but suddenly her vision became dark. She was almost fall her body on the ground when suddenly a strong arm caught her from falling. "Jean, are you okay?" said a familiar voice. Jean slowly opened her eyes and tried to fix her vision and finally she managed to focus her eyes to the person who saved her. Black coat, pyro vision, crimson eyes and red long hair.

She smiled. "Master Diluc".
