Diluc stretched his arm as hard as he can and grabbed Jean's hand. He pulled her closer to him and wrapped his arms around her curved body. They were still falling and it was pitch black. They can't see anything around them as they were falling into a total darkness. Jean wrapped her arms around Diluc's neck as he held out his hand and summoned a flame orb on his palm. They finally had a source of light as they were falling and they soon realised they were almost arrived at the bottom. Diluc looked around to think a safe way for them to land but Jean got a better idea.

"Hold me!" Jean said to his ear while turning around. Her back was now facing Diluc's body. His other hand wrapped her waist tightly as she pointed both of her palms down to the ground and when they were only few metres away from the ground, she quickly blew a strong wind and the wind hit the ground, making both Jean and Diluc pushed away up from the ground. Jean managed to lower the momentum of their fallings and they landed their bodies on hard ground.

Diluc groaned as his back hit the ground. But it was better than falling flatly and die. Diluc realized his flame orb was gone and summoned another orb for the source of light. Once his eyes focused through the light, he then felt movements on top of him.

"Urm... Diluc. Your hand," Jean slowly said. He saw Jean was still laying on top of him, her face was only few inches away from him while his hand was still wrapping tightly around her waist. Diluc quickly released his hand from her and Jean got up from him. He sat down on the hard floor and put the flame orb beside him.  "What were you thinking?" Jean suddenly spoke up. "You could've get killed!"

"So do you!" he replied.

"I didn't do that on purpose," Jean started to raise her voice, echoed the deep ground. "I was pulled and you literally jumped-"

"And then what? You want me to let you fall? "Diluc cut her. "And if its not because of my flame, you won't see anything here and you probably be dead by now,"

Jean turned to him. "I can manage-"

"How can you be so sure?" He cut her again.

Jean looked down and shook her head. "I shouldn't agree with your offer to come with me in the first place," she clenched hard her jaws.

"Jean, what are you saying? What's going on with you?" he asked her.

Jean lifted her as tears started to pool in her eyes. "'I've put you in danger, Diluc! I don't want anything happened to you! Hate me if you want! I know I'm being stubborn and selfish but I don't want you to be dead. I couldn't bare to lose you, Diluc!" she let out her feelings as tears were now flowing down heavily on her cheeks.

Diluc's eyes widened after he listened to her. He felt like time had stopped around them as he pulled her into a deep kiss. Jean was shocked with his sudden action but she kissed him back. This was the thing she had longed for. She couldn't ignore her feelings anymore and poured the emotions and feelings in the kiss. After a moment, Diluc broke the kiss and stared into her eyes. "You idiot," he said before pulling her into a warm embrace. "How can I hate the person I love the most?" he continued. He felt his heart was hammering in his chest. He had mixed feelings right now. Happy, sad, excited. It was a new foreign emotion but it was warm and gave little sparks in his heart. He tightened his embrace and they stayed like that in silence for a moment, letting their heartbeats told each other's true heart.

Jean continued to sob. Diluc pulled himself and touched her cheeks.

"Please don't cry," he softly said while brushing off the tears on her cheeks. It pained him to see her crying because of him. He then planted a soft kiss on her wet cheek, making her smiled. They knew, from now on, they were holding each other's heart and Diluc promised to himself that he would never break her heart even for once.

Jean sniffled and looked at him. The urge to throw herself on him and kiss him again on the lips was building inside her but she had to save it for later as they had an important thing to do. Saving Mondstadt. "We should find a way out," she said and stood up. She looked around and only found ground wall circled them. She turned her head to the sky and saw a light from above but it was far away. That concluded that they were both trapped deeply underground.

"There's no way we can climb up," Diluc spoke up as he touched the ground wall. He tried to hit the wall with his claymore but that only made the wall cracked and let out some dirt. He sighed and turned to Jean.

Jean put her chin in her fingers, thinking. She gasped when she found an idea. "I have an idea but I never try this before," she said.

"What is it?" Diluc asked her.

Jean walked to the middle of the ground and stood still before clasping her both hands. She closed her eyes while trying to focus on something. After a few moments, she took a deep breath and a circle diagram with an anemo mark glowed around her on the ground's surface. A gentle breeze hit Diluc's face and soon the breeze turned into a strong wind current. He noticed the anemo mark on her shoulder and her anemo vision were also glowing as she offered her hand at him. "Grab my hand," she said and Diluc quickly grabbed her hand and wrapped his arms around her waist. The wind current was getting stronger and they soon finally flew up into the air.

Lumine dodged the attack from the hydro abyss mage and unleased a swift of electro lightning through her blade and it hit the hydro mage, expecting she could at least break its shield but nothing happened.

"Useless," the hydro abyss mage said in a raspy voice while creating a big bubble and soon the bubble floated towards Lumine. Just before the strong bubble hit her, a bright arrow hit the bubble and it popped in front of her.

Venti turned and jumped high, trying to avoid the pyro abyss mage's flames and aimed his arrow at it. He was about to release his arrow when a sudden big icicle hit his body and missed his arrow. Venti fell down. The cryo abyss mage flew towards him and he quickly created a swirl of wind on his palms and threw it to the enemy in front of him. The cryo abyss mage was sent flying across the floor and broke it shield.

"Venti are you okay?" Lumine asked him as she got closer to him.

Venti grabbed his bow and chuckled. "I am but my power is worn out now," he replied. The cryo abyss mage got up and turned to the both of them. Soon, the pyro and hydro abyss mages teleported beside the cryo abyss mage and started to get near Venti and Lumine. Lumine grabbed her sword and stood in front of Venti, trying to protect him.

A glimpse of bright red light appeared behind the enemy and revealed a giant fire phoenix. It flew towards them and hit them hard before there were sent flying and hit the hard pillars.

Both Venti and Lumine lifted their heads and smiled when they sighted Diluc and Jean landed in front of them.
