"Master Diluc," Jean said.

"Jean! Stay with me!" Diluc called her out. He held her tightly and observed the wounds on her body. Both of her legs were injured. Her shoulder cape was long gone, showing off her big cut on her left shoulder. Blood was rushing out from her left abdomen and started to pool beneath the both of them. The cut was big as Diluc can clearly see her red flesh. Without wasting anymore time, Diluc took off his coat and tore it, before wrapping tight the cloth piece around Jean's waist, trying to lessen the blood from flowing too much.

"Master Diluc, there's no need- I still can move" Jean said, half conscious.

"Stay still, Jean," Diluc ordered. As he was trying to bandage her exposed shoulder, he suddenly heard running footsteps towards them. He turned his head to the footsteps and saw three hilachurls and a pyro abyss mage were coming towards them. Diluc's eyes widened and held her tight in his arms. What should I do? If I move now, Jean's blood will keep flowing out. If I stay here... Diluc was lost in his panic thoughts when suddenly...

"Diluc! Cover!" a sudden particle of ice hit the hilichurls. Diluc lowered himself and burried Jean's head in his chest, making sure she was not hurt. He then saw someone was jumping above them. He took a glance and noticed it was his brother, Kaeya, landed in front of him. "You okay, Luc?" Diluc slowly nodded.

"Sucrose! Take care of Master Jean," said a voice behind them. The Chief Alchemist of the Knight of Favonius, Albedo and his faithful assistant, Sucrose were approaching them.

"Master Diluc. Please let me see Master Jean's condition" Sucrose asked Diluc after she knelt beside the both of them. Diluc loosened his grip and carefully laid Jean on the ground. Diluc then turned to both Kaeya and Albedo, which they were now facing the hilichurls. Grabbing his claymore, Diluc walked and lined up with the two captains.

"Ready?" Kaeya asked the two men. The both of them nodded before the three men ran towards the enemies. Albedo jumped high with the help of his Solar Isotama and drew his sword before landed onto the cryo hilichurl, stabbing through its body. He then landed a hard kick on the cryo hilichurl, making it bumped into the pyro abyss mage. The abyss mage fell down due the impact when suddenly Kaeya's drew his cryo skills through his sword and shattered its shield. A sudden damage landed on the pyro abyss when Diluc swung his claymore on it, throwing it into the air. Albedo once again summoned his Solar Isotama and help Diluc jumped high onto the air and hit the abyss mage down onto the ground with his blazed claymore. Kaeya turned and dodged a sudden attack from his behind by a hilichurl and countered the attack with his sword before kicking it hard across the land, near the last hilichurl. The last hilichurl was about to run when Albedo appeared behind him and gave it a swift of his blade before it fell hard on the ground.

The three men caught their breath heavily. Diluc straightened his back and moved his legs towards Sucrose and Jean. Kaeya and Albedo followed after him. "How is she?" Diluc asked breathlessly.

"I did put on some wound elixir on the cuts but she needs a proper medical treatment. The elixir cannot properly heal the wounds," Sucrose explained as she poured some liquid onto Jean's wounded shoulder from the glass flask.

"So, we need to send her to the infirmary immediately," Kaeya suggested.

Albedo shook his head. "Both Knight of Favonius and general Mondstadt infirmaries are now full with injured knights and citizens. Some of them had bigger damages that need to be prioritized more," Albedo explain. "For the time being, I suggest Master Jean to be somewhere far away from Mondstadt with for treatments, as all places are now had been attacked by the Abyss," Albedo explain.

Jean coughed out blood. She tried to sit but Sucrose pushed her down, asking her to lay down back. "Please, stop worrying about me. I'm fine. The wounds can heal soon," she coughed again.

"What are you talking about, Master Jean?" Kaeya replied her, disbelieving of what he just heard. "You are badly injured now. For now, you need to go as far from here to safer place and get proper treatm-"

"No! I cannot leave the battlefield while Mondstadt is in danger!" Jean cut him off, forcing herself into a sitting position.

"Your health is our priority now. Leave everything to us, Master Jean," Albedo spoke up. Jean turned to Albedo. She frowned, disagreeing with the idea.

"Jean, if anything bad happened to you, no one can lead the knights. Indeed, you are their priority right now," Diluc knelt beside her. Concern was evident in his voice. Jean lowered her head and stared onto the ground. They were right. If anything happened to her, no one can lead the city. She should put more trust on her companions. She lifted up her face and nodded, forcing herself to agree with their ideas.

"Good. Now, Luc. We need your help to bring Master Jean to Wangshu Inn. It is not that far from here if you take the shorter road. With your strength and speed, I believe you can arrive there in 40 minutes, at max," Kaeya asked while tapping his brother's right shoulder. Diluc turned and nodded.

"I'll contact a friend of mine from Liyue to get any medic at the inn," Albedo replied. Jean looked at him, hesitated. He then knelt down and took Jean's hand in his. "Please, believe in us, Master Jean," Albedo tried to reassure her more. She sighed.

"Fine. I'll leave Mondstadt in your care. But please, report to me," Jean said. She smiled weakly at him as her face was getting paler because of the blood loss.

Diluc lifted Jean up carefully and carried her on his back while Jean slowly clung his arms around Diluc's neck, groaned softly as she felt a sting of pain on her left shoulder. "Be careful," Sucrose said while covering Jean's back with a long black cloak. The three knights bid them well as the Diluc and Jean turned their back and made their way to Liyue.

Kaeya smirked and turned to Albedo and Sucrose. "Okay everyone, we have a lot to do," he said, walking back to the battlefield.
