2. The Invitation

~Wednesday~ Red's POV

I opened the door to see a boy the age of sixteen standing there. He has chocolate brown hair and sea green eyes, his high cheek bones led me to look at those pink kissable lips of his.

"Hello. I'm Jason." He told me with an amused look on his face.

"I-I was, um... want to come in?" I ask him as I open the door wider.

"Yes." He replied while smiling.

Jerk. I thought as I closed the door behind him, still blushing. Walking into the living room, my grandma looks at us.

"Oh, hello. I haven't see you in a while..." She told him as we sat down on the couch across from her.
I am so confused right now.....

"Red, this is my best friends son." She informed me. He pulled out a white envelope from his coat.

He gave it to my grandma who read the writing on the front before opening it.

She read it with a straight face. She gave the letter to me.There was a red wax seal on the front with a name written on it.
My name....

Okay? Is this some kind of joke....? What is this??
I thought as I opened it.

Miss Red,
We are joyful to inform you that you are invited to Blackwell Academy. Only to best of students are accepted. The school year will start on January 20th 2018. Before school starts you will be attending the Blackwell ball, for Prince James Charming to find his Princess. The Ball is the Friday 16th of October. You will be expected to wear a dress of your choice of color. Bring this invitation, it is your ticket to get in.

Wow. I was not expecting that...

"I'll come here on Friday to pick you up in time for dance, it's also a masquerade." Jason informed me after I looked over the invitation.

"Ok thanks, I'll see you then..? I questioned. He nodded his head before waving to my grandmother.
He stood up from his chair and walkout out the door shutting it behind him.

My eyes were wide as I thought, This was not how I expected my visit to go at all....
