Ella's POV
The music was soft and slow. All eyes turned to me as a boy pushed his way through the crowd. He had brown hair and forest green eyes. He looked hot in the tuxedo.
"May I have this dance?"
"Yes."
His arms encircled me as I put my arms around his neck. We swayed to the music as we turned I caught a glimpse of my stepsisters. They were baffled as to who I was. Everyone was.
After dancing to a few more songs he lead me to the refreshments. The handed me a drink of water, then got one for himself.
"Thank you." I muttered.
"I'd do anything for you." He replied with a smile on his lips. I blushed as I sipped the cold water. I saw a girl spill wine on another girl's red dress. The girl in the red dress ran out of the room. We walked back into the middle of the room and started dancing.
I examined his face as we danced. Brown ear length hair, forest green eyes with flecks of gold in them, high cheek bones, straight long nose and pink kissable lips. Before I knew it, it was midnight. I looked at him one last time.
"I have to go." I told him regretfully.
"Please stay a little longer." He begged me.
"I have to go." I repeated as I ran out of the school. The glass slipper fell off my foot, but I kept running out of fear. I was fearful my stepmother and sisters would find me, that the prince wouldn't want me once he found out who I was.
"Wait!" He called out as he chased me. I kept running, never looking back. It was soon I realized that the car was gone.
