Ella's POV
I stopped shortly, not knowing what to do. The prince ran up to me.
"Why'd you run?" He asked me.
"My stepmother and sisters will be furious once they know that I have gone to the dance. I will surely be punished." I replied tears rolling down my face. He hugged me and wiped away my tears with his thumps.
"Shhh. I won't let them punish you." He comforted me as I cried. A boy who look the exact same as the prince walked up to me.
"Brother, give me the girl." The boy told the Prince.
"No James." The prince said as he put his body in-between me and James. A girl and a boy, perhaps siblings, appeared out of the shadows. They both had blonde hair and blue eyes.
"James come here!" The girl begged him as she grabbed his hand in hers.
"Go away Jill, take Jack with you." He told them as he glared at the two of them.
"No I won't leave with out you!" She yelled at him. All the while me and the prince we're backing up. Walking towards the academy, we ran back inside, leaving them behind. My beautiful blue dress turned back into the rags I wore before.
"I'll forever protect you." He told me as we hugged.
