Ella's POV
"Cinderella!" My stepmother called down the stairs.
"Coming!" I yelled up as I tried to run up the slippery, newly washed tile stairs. I slipped and hit my arm on the hard tile.
"Ow.." I muttered as I hurried up. My stepmother was standing by a bin of laundry that needs to be cleaned. She won't go by any thing that has to do with cleaning or work. She's never worked a day in her life.
"Yes?" I asks her.
"I need you to clean these and help you sisters with their dresses."
"Yes ma'am."
I ran to the laundry room and put the clothes in the washer. After I was done I ran to the girl's rooms. Anastasia was throwing clothes around trying to find the perfect dress. The pink room looked as if a tornado had hit.
"Cinderella, come help me!" She yelled as I walked into the room. I pulled my blonde hair up in a messy bun before I started to pick up the dresses.
"What do you need help with?" I asked quietly.
"I need to find the perfect dress for the ball. I bet the prince will want to marry me once he sees how beautiful I am.."
"There's a ball?"
"Yes, but you don't need to worry your petty little head about it."
Shaking off her insult I continued to hold up different dresses. Not one of them was pretty or perfect for her.
