~Early Friday~ Red's POV
Waking up a got dressed wearing my sweats and a white T. I walked to the stainless steel kitchen only to find it empty, my stomach growls at me to feed it.
Turning to the fringe I grab the milk and Fruit Loops and poured myself cereal. Something yellow catches my eye on the fringe that I some how missed. After I was done input my bowl in the sink. I looked and saw a note,
Robin,
Go to your grandmothers. I won't be home for a week, so pack up to stay longer.
~MotherI sighed after reading it. Well I better start packing... I thought as I ran up to my room and grabbed a bag. Stuffing clothes and other necessaries into the bag, next I grabbed my things for the ball tonight. Checking over my things, I saw I had everything I needed for the week.
"Looks like I'm good to go..." I muttered under my breath as I walked into the living room. Opening the front door I locked it behind me as I closed it, I starting my long walk to my grandmothers......
~An Hour Later~
I walked into her cottage like house, happy to be here because my legs are killing me. You may be thinking, why do Red's legs kill if she walks there everyday? One, I'm not superman and Well to answer your question I ran because a bear was running after me. I walked into a clearing to rest and a mother bear and her cubs pop out of nowhere! The mother bear ran at me while the Cubs ran off....
I walked into the kitchen, my body in need of water. After drinking four water bottles my grandmother came in.
"Someone's been running a marathon..." She teased me as she got out her dinner from the night before.
"Here I made lots." She informed me as she gave a plate.
After eating I put my dishes in the sink and take my things to the spare bedroom. I put all my clothes into the dresser, and hopped in the shower. After washing my body with soap and hair with shampoo and conditioner I got out. Pulling my hair up with a towel I got dressed in sweats and a T-shirt. Looking at the clock I saw it's 6:21 P.M. Just as I decided to lay out my dress, my grandmother came in the room.
"There's something I need to tell you about, Red." My grandmother said as I set out my dress, shoes and mask.
I turned to face her, my hair falling into my face."Yes?" I asked her as I brushed it aside.
"My mother kept a mirror, with this mirror one could talk to ghosts,
Get advises even see the future. All things have a dark side... That mirror could manipulate like you wouldn't believe, I saw what it did to my mother." She paused taking a shaky breath."She tried to kill my grandma, when my grandma Abby, fought back my mother blamed the whole thing on Abby. My grandma ended up dead, I ran away after that..." She told me with shaky hands as she fixed her dress.
I never knew about any of that.. I thought as I looked at my grandmother.
"That mirror is missing, if you find it by any chance destroy it." She looked me in the eyes as she told me this.
Knock!
Knock!
Knock!"I need to get ready. could you answer the door?" I asked my grandmother as I turned to my dress.
