~Friday~ Red's POV

I slipped out of my clothes and into my dress. Next I ran into the bathroom and curled my dark brown hair, I also quickly did my makeup after I put my mask on. After I tied my hood around my neck, as I pulled on my shoes I heard my grandmother tell Jason,

"She'll be down any second." Walking down the stairs I looked at Jason. He had on jeans and a simple T-shirt. A frowned formed on my lips as I asked.

"Aren't you going to the ball?" He stared me with an open mouth, quickly closing it he replied.

"I'm just here to take you..." I looked at him standing next to me.
His sea-green eyes looked over me again.

"I'm up here." I told him while snapping my fingers. As he blushed bright red, I just laughed at him.

"Well you two better get going.." My grandmother reminds me as we stand by the door.

"Bye! I'll see you later." I yelled to her as we walk out I shut the door behind me. The wind blew around us as we walked to his white bug.
He saw me looking at his car with an eyebrow raised and looked over at me.

"It's my sisters, I had to borrow it..." He explains as we get in.

"Well that explains a lot..." I muttered under my breath looking at the lipgloss sitting in one of the cupholders...

About an hour later we pulled up to Blackwell Academy. The school was three stories high with big rectangular windows. As I got out of the car, Jason came out with me.

"Don't want to catch any flies with your mouth open that wide. Might wanna close it." He said to me while laughing at my expression. I hit him on the arm.

"No need for violence, here's your invitation." He said while rubbing his arm. I just rolled my eyes at him as I took the invitation from him. I looked over at him one last time before I walked to the school. As I heard his car drive off into the cold night.

Once I got closer I realized that some other of the students were coming in at the same time I was.

Thats a relief that I'm not late... I thought as I opened the glass door. Music drifted from the gym as people walked inside. With my invitation in hand I walked over to the gym, after handing the guard the letter I was amazed at how different the gym looked from any of the other dances I've been to. (Not as many as you would think)

There was about a hundred teenagers in the gym, I'm surprised there's not any adults in here. Bright dresses of all colors and lengths were worn by the girls as for the boys, they had on tuxedos. The music was live, I was shocked at how rich this family must be to do have all these things just for a dance.

There were chairs lining the walls and a table of refreshments off to the side. As I walked over to an empty chair a guy stepped into my path, stoping me from walking any further.

"Would you care for a dance?" He asked me as he held out his hand. I placed my hand into his larger ones.

As he pulled me out onto the dance floor, he wrapped his arms around my waist. I brought my hand to his shoulders. He was 6 feet and 8 inches tall, his blonde hair and blue eyes stood out in the dimmed room. We stayed back and forth to the music.

As we turned the front doors to the gym opened to reveal a blonde hair girl in a stunning blue dress. As the girl moved the dress would shine as if there were stars on it.
All eyes were on this mysterious girl. A boy pushed through the crowed towards the girl, the boy I realized as the prince, then asked her something soon after they started to dance. All the while whispers could be heard throughout the whole gym. Everyone wanting to know who she was.
