Ch. 7 Surpise

Everyone piled into the hangout area, it was a tight squeeze because there was so many of us. Most of the boys sat on the ground but Jess happened to be sitting on Matts lap. Shawn was whispering something to Jack G but he patted the part of the couch next to him and motioned for me to sit there.

"What were you and Jack talking about?" He grinned at me "nothing, I'll tell you about it later" I scrunched my eyes brows together and he just chuckled "don't worry about it" okay then?

"How long until we get to LA?" Everyone was having their own private conversations. "Tomorrow morning, it's a long drive" oh yay..

"Why what's wrong?" He entwined our hands "I just get car sick from time to time, but being with a lot of people shouldn't be to bad" he smiled and kissed my cheek. "Hey shawn, play a song" Aaron handed him a guitar making him take his hand away from mine.

"Alright... Any request?" Jess spoke up first. "Strings!" She knew that was my favorite song. "Perfect" he started a small beat in his guitar and it grew.

I feel like I should be freaking out about being with shawn and being on his tour bus, but if feels like it's been this way for a long time.

Shawn's POV

I know these lyrics by heart but just watching her makes this song so much more. I love the way at how she sways to the music... She's so beautiful. How could have no one stolen her heart yet? She's worth so much. And I can't wait for these next three days with this beautiful angel.

Jess's POV

Matt kept snuggling into my neck and squeezing my hands. Everyone's eyes were on Shawn and Shelbi so no one would look at us. I've never been a fan of PDA but this I was okay with. I should tell him about the things my father has made me done. Just the thought of my dad makes me want to cry and run, but when Matt holds me... I can finally forget it all... No more pain and no more scars.

If things keep going the way I want. I'm gonna tell him everything. And I know he won't mind the things I've been forced to do.

Shelbi's POV

I loved the way at how he could put his soul into the song. Not many people can do that, but shawn after all was a one of a kind.

He finished and everyone gave him a small applause. "Do another"

Most of the bus ride contained Shawn singing songs and everyone listening in. Before we knew it the sun had disappeared. "Alright guys we should get to sleep, we gotta get up early when we hit LA"

Oh, where was I gonna sleep? "Hey um... The thing I was talking to Jack about was the sleeping arrangements, there's only so many bunks and well... I was hoping you wouldn't mind bunking with me" was he getting shy? I never thought I was see the day. "Yeah totally" I was actually really happy about that.

"Really? Okay good. Cause I wouldn't be able to fit with Matt" I chuckled and we walked over to the bunk area. Jess crawled into one and Matt followed. Jack G climbed into one with Jack J. and Nash climbed into one with Cameron. All the other guys had to spread out in the little hang out area. I climbed up into the bunk with Shawns help and he climbed in after me. It was small so we had to squeeze, thank god I was small.

He closed the little curtain that would give us a small amount of privacy. He hooked his arm around me and I laid my head on his chest. "Goodnight shelbi" God I love this boy. "Goodnight shawn" he kissed the top of my head and I drifted off to the sound of Shawns breaths.

Jess's POV

Matt had our legs entwined and he was holding onto me really tight. "Jess? What's been on your mind? You've been a little distant" I was wondering if he noticed. "Just thinking about my dad... But that's another story" he shifted so that he was looking at me. "Tell me" I shook my head. "Another day then?" I nodded "goodnight beautiful" I smiled. It will be a good night.
