Rose's POV

I struggle to face my friends who listened to Lila's tall tales. I just did some research about Jagged Stone and found out that he never had a kitten, never wrote a song about Lila and all the stuff she said. But why? Why was she lying? I need to make her stop. She can be my friend. I wouldn't judge her for her past.

"Lila, could I talk to you in the bathroom?" I ask

"Sure," she says

*Timeskip*

As we walk into the bathroom, I close the door and lock it.

"So why did you want to talk to me, Rose?"

"I spoke to Prince Ali of Achu yesterday.....," I started

"Oh, you mean my Ali? You know, we are still working on the project to save the wildlife in Achu. He always gives me updates on his work and how...."

"STOP!" I yell. I'm tired of hearing her lie, especially about my boyfriend

"Lila, I know about your lies. Please just stop. You are my friend, and I will never abandon a friend. Please just tell me the truth. I promise I won't leave you."

Lila's eyes softened for a bit (Lila redemption? Is it happening???), but her eyes came back to her wicked glint (Not today, folks)

"Are you threatening me?"

"What? No, I...."

"You think everyone can just turn goodie goodie under one day, you dingbat?" she continues. "Then, I'm sorry to tell you that I am giving you a chance to change, Rose Lallivant. If you question me ever again, I might as well have you expelled."

I start to cower in fear, but I take courage and say, "No, Lila. I can help you."

"Then you leave me no choice, Rose," she says. What was she going to do?

Lila's POV

I take out a pocket knife and plunge it into my leg. After wincing in pain, I give the blood-stained knife to Rose who took it curiously. That girl is so naive.

"I think I have to lie just one more time," I say to her before I start screaming for help. The pain was stinging but it would be worth it seeing Rose out of the school.

Luckily for me, Ms. Mendeleiev rushed into the bathroom with her usual stern look. "Why are you making a nuisance, Rossi?"

I looked at her weakly and pointed at my bloody legs before saying Rose's name then 'passing out'. Wow. Acting classes in Italy have really helped me.

Ms. Mendeliev carries me to the nurse's office where I am treated. I am then taken to the principal's office with Rose who repeatedly denies it. With some water works and groans of pain here and there, Mr. Damocles gives Rose a stern look, then what I hear next is like music to my ears

"For brandishing and using a weapon to injure a fellow student, Rose Lallivant, you are hereby expelled from this school"
