Mari's POV
*Two weeks later*
"Oh no. Oh no. Oh no! I'm gonna be late again!" I screamed as a I looked at the kwamis in front of me
"Is she always this late?" Wayzz asked Tikki
"Unfortunately for a guardian, yes."
"Hey!" I yelled
I immediately decide to do something about my lateness and in a few minutes I find myself running up the stairs in school. Heaven knows how I was able to shower, brush my teeth and dress up. Not to mention how I managed to sketch how Adrien looked in the swimsuit the day we fought Mr. Pigeon for the 72th time. But that's a story for another day
As I enter the class I receive glares from everyone. What has Lila accused me of this time? I try to sit next to Alya but I see Lila on my seat.
"Umm, Lila? In case you've added partial blindness to one of your 'conditions'," I air-quoted , "Then I have to remind you that this is my seat."
"This is no longer your seat Marinette," Alya said sharply
"What?" I ask suprised
"I don't share my seat with liars and betrayers like you" Alya continued
I began to laugh, to the disgust of my classmates.
"Okay Alya, is this some sort of joke? I can stand everyone sucking up to Lila but you?"
"Explain this then!" she said, pointing up to her phone.
Before I could even look at it, she started to shout
"Gone! All gone! My Ladyblog is gone! Just because you were jealous of my success and how famous my blog was, you decided to hack into it and destroy everything? And after all I did for you Marinette! When you acted like a full idiot in front of Adrien, I was always there. But what do I get? My site being hacked and shutdown?!"
I looked at her in shock and managed to say, "B-But Alya, I don't even know how to code!"
"Oh really, then explain these codes in my phone," she yelled holding her phone out. Looking at it, I saw.....
The codes from the Grimore? She's using my role as guardian against me?
"Okay Alya, I don't know when Lila brainwashed you but I did not do anything. And you know that I wouldn't do such a thing, right Adrien?" I asked, but I didn't get a reply.
"Adrien?" I look at him who has a sad look
"Sorry Marinette, but I can't be friends with someone who betrays their very best friend. I'm sorry, but we can't be together anymore," he replied
"WHAT?!!" I scream. Okay this has to be a dream. Sooner or later, Tikki would bathe me in icy cool water and everything would be alright.
Adrien then turned to Lila. "besides, I've found some who is 1,000 times better than you would ever be. Lila?"
What is he doing?
"Yes Adrien?"
Adrien begins to go down on one knee with a rose in hand. Any minute now, Tikki!
"Lila, I'm sorry about all the times I had pushed you away, but now I want to make things right. Would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"
Lila begins her famous water works before chocking out a, "Yes!"
"No!" I cry out immediately, tears welling up in my eyes
Then they began to kiss passionately, while Alya says, "Now this is the best ship ever."
I couldn't take it anymore. I ran out of the class.
Lila's POV
I told you Marinette. I always win.
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnddddddddddddd done! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! How did this happen though? Never expected it from Alya and most especially Adrien did we? What do you think happened? Leave your thoughts in the comments!
