Adrien's POV
*Flashback*
It was time for school. I had packed up all of my things ready to go. But as I was eating breakfast, Nathalie told me that my father wanted to speak to me.
As I entered the cold room I knew whatever my father had to say wasn't going to be good.
"Son sit down," Father said. "I hear you have been taken quite a fancy to that girl, Marinette Dupain-Cheng?"
"Yes, Father. She's really talented and sweet and.."
"You are no longer allowed to be with her," my father said
"WHAT?!!" I yell
"Yes Adrien. Your school wok has greatly suffered. Look at your report card from the beginning of last semester's examinations. You scored all A-pluses. But now, in your mid-term report, I see you have dropped to an A-minus in Chemistry."
"But Father, I was absent from a test due to a photo shoot and Ms. Mendeliev refused to give me a chance to do it," I complained
"So you're saying it's my fault Adrien?" my father asked with an unhappy look. Not good.
"N-No father. You didn't -"
"Then stay away from that baker girl's daughter. Or else I would pull you out of school and make sure that her parents do not sell a single croissant ever again!" my father threatened
The tears at the back of my eyes stung, but I manage to keep myself in check. "Yes, Father," I bow in defeat
"And one more thing," my father said as I go out.
"Yes, Father?"
"I heard of this girl, Lila Rossi. I believe she has modeled with our brand before. It would boost the image of our company if you date her."
"But Father!" I cut in
"What is it Adrien?" my father asked in a grumpy mood
"You just told me to break up with Marinette because of my grades, but you want me to immediately walk into another relationship? Shouldn't I at least get some time before-"
"YOU SHALL DO AS I SAY YOUNG MAN!!!!" my father thundered. "If you don't obey my instructions, you would never step foot in that dumpster with foundations and walls you call a school ever again!"
Once again with no choice, I reply: "Yes, Father."
"Good, you may leave my office."
I stand up to go, but before I go past the door, my father calls me again. "Adrien?"
"Yes Father?"
"That Marinette girl. Break up with her as harsh as possible."
Annnnndddddddddddddd done!
