The darkness began to fade as lights shine like bright stars in the ceiling. Power was down at the front of the stage, but dim lights helped guide stragglers who entered.

Completely involved in the storyline that brought their favorite fantasies to life, the readers and listeners stayed quiet until the familiar, or a new sound, buzzed off into the background.

Then, a sign that read 'applaud' vibrated on and off as lights flashed white on the stage. Though instructions were given, they were not needed when the crowd saw their hostess, Author-chan.

She sat in the middle of the stage with a grab-and-go chair beneath her. She was content with life and with what's happened so far, thanks to her faithful fanbase.

She loved everyone back, she loved staying up late at night to read the script and learn more about the show she admired so greatly. She didn't go to work every day.

It's not work when you truly love what you do. Once the camera made it's round across the crowd of familiar and new faces, it rounded back to the grinning lady.

"Good (morning/evening), to the families and friends watching back at home! I'm your hostess, Author, and I have a big surprise for you!"

The crowd had since been quiet to hear the words of someone that always brought great fortune to their hearts. They wanted as many details, as much information they could possibly get their hands on.

"Apparently, before Serena's death, the producers were going to make a small adventure scene as an 'extra', but decided against it when it would've been out of their time limits."

Greedy as the sin goes, the fans wanted to know more, or even see this extra clip. What could it have possibly been about?

"Since I promised you that no scene, and no questions, would ever go to waste around here, I bring to you Extra Number 20!" The Author grinned proudly at the information the producers had so gracefully placed onto her.

"This is set between Batch 47 and Zombie-Baby!" Author stood in front of the people that had become her family, people she owed everything to.

Carefully, she lifted up the light-weight chair, waving her hand goodbye to the fans that shared equal love for this show. This gave the background crew enough time to work in prepping the stage a little more.

A white screen was slowly slid down by a mechanic device drilled into the ceiling as the projector, in the middle of a section, switched on by a remote control.

"Alright, in the morning we'll set off." Warren assured the wary group of their next departure at the crack of dawn.

They were stationed at an old, abandoned gas station--who are we kidding, most of everything is abandoned at this point. They were gathered outside of their own vehicle, deciding on where to sleep and such.

With only the Tahoe as the sleep beam for all of them, and the gas station that could be used as an advantage point, the group was spread out comfortably.

Well, as comfortable as the apocalypse gets. For protection, Cassandra and Murphy slept in the gas station with Vasquez on point--who also barricaded the back door so no escapes could be made without ruckus.

Addy and Doc slept in the backseats while Warren slept upright in the passenger seat to have more room.

With the trunk up and a small blanket covering her head to block out the street light that somehow still had power, (Y/N) slept by the trunk's door.
