Muffled voices (kiribaku)

Chapter 27

Shinsou's pov:

Walking into a room, I am told to lay down on a bed and so I do. He does a few things, bakugou is right, they're quite invasive, but nevermind, he asks to do a quick scan to also check the progress of growth and things.

Natsuo: "You have a good 3 weeks to decide wether or not you're keeping this baby, you know that don't you?"

Shinsou: "Mhm... I know.. wait, I thought it was 4 weeks?"

Natsuo: "No, you look about 17 weeks now... so, around 3 weeks. I must have seen it a little differently yesterday, but only just 17 weeks.. so.."

Shinsou: "Oh.. ok...."

Natsuo: "But I mean, you barely have a stomach, so you can probably hide that."

Shinsou: "Probably.. hopefully...."

Natsuo: "Mhm... well, the good news is, bakugou was right it is braxton hicks contractions. Said to cause mild discomfort-"

Shinsou: "Mild discomfort my fucking ass.."

Natsuo chuckles slightly and nods "Yeah... most people do say it hurts, so I wouldn't be in a position to tell you it doesn't. The last lady I had said 'No uterus, no opinion', so I have decided those are wise words."

Shinsou: "They are."

Natsuo smiles and nods "Right, well then, I recommend going on walks and things, not too much, don't push yourself. Just around a park or something like that. Alright?"

Shinsou: "Alright.."

Natsuo: "In a week or so, you should be able to find out the gender. That's something to look forwards to right?"

Shinsou: "Gender? Oh great... that'll be fun with my goddamn parents, wouldn't it?"

Natsuo: "They are-"

Shinsou: "Rude? Definitely. Don't be scared to bad mouth them infront of me, hell, I'll join in."

Natsuo smiles slightly and nods "I see, alright then. Well, I think they'll let them in, but they might not due to whatever happened at the police station. You went down, didn't you?"

Shinsou: "Yeah, well.. hopefully they won't.. but at the same time, they might..."

Natsuo: "Yeah... well, don't stress too much about it. Also, I would recommend... this is going to sound harsh.. but um.. it might be a good idea to not wear a binder for the time being.. just because of everything... um..."

Shinsou: "Fine."

Natsuo: "Although, because my brother could never get a binder until he was 15. Before that.. he used the sports bra thing.. it doesn't work as well, but it.. helps a little... better than nothing."

Shinsou: "Yeah.. yeah, I know what you're talking about... and that's fine?"

Natsuo: "Oh yeah, that's perfectly fine."

Shinsou: "Alright then.."

Natsuo: "Well, good luck then, as I say, it gets hard after a while as with most things but I assure you, if you decide to keep them then.. well, it will get easier.. because this is only one little bit.... and afterwards... well, I'm sure bakugou will tell you it's worth it."

Shinsou: "Yeah...."

He helps me up and then leads me out again, going back into the waiting room.

Natsuo: "Oh, right. How have your levels been?"

Shinsou: "They were a little low earlier, but-"

I take out my notebook "Your brother did this, so I'm sorted for that."
