The Bear itself was nothing to joke about. In a small town of South Delhila, lived the Bear of the age. The Legend. Everyone came every Wednesday to see the "Grudge Match" against the Bear. The origins of where the people found the Bear is shrouded. But, when they found the Bear near it's dead mother, they nurtured him. They named him Demearo. Or, in the ring, Sparky. Never did the Bear lose. No matter who challenged the Bear, the Bear won. Most of the people didn't survive the match. That's why they would pay people good money if they could beat the Bear in a match.
Let's just say, they never got their money. One day, a challenger, Agusto Dominguez, from a country far away, stepped into the ring and challenged the Bear. People laughed, but still they came to see the match. As usual, the Bear gave devastating blows, he broke the man's ribcage, but still Agusto still fought. Suddenly, a loud, bang was heard, causing everyone to go silent, the match was paused. A spray of bullets hit the Bear on the right side of his face, ripping the skin off his face and exposing his skull, within seconds. The Bear fell dead right there in the ring.
People were in shock, despair, and most of all, anger. This wasn't a fair fight. But yet the man stood victorious, and got his cash prize. A small group of people gathered a wagon, and piled the remains of the beloved Bear somewhere in the woods in a Deep cave where bats were currently resting, and buried him there. Years went by, and slowly people forgot about Sparky. Except on one day, it was Halloween. People from all over came to the beloved witch fest, filling their stomachs to the point of bursting. A strange man, people don't really know his name, but they called him, Hank.
Hank was a strange man to say the least. He would wear strange lumber clothes in the middle of hot summers and shorts in Winter. But he gave away free firewood, so people were generous to him and never questioned him.
Hank found out about Sparky and did a whole man-hunt for the remains of the Bear, saying it was for "research". But nobody in the town believed that. But still, they let him do as he pleased. He gave them materials free, and they wouldn't want to jeopardize that.
He searched long and far, going through the woods only to be disappointed with bread crumbs. But he wouldn't give up, not yet. Days went by and he was running low on supplies. Suddenly, a small opening appeared in a rocky mountain side. The mouth of the cave was dark, and he barely had enough later oil to get him through another hour, but yet he pursued. Happy to finally end the search of the Mysterious Bear.
It's said that Hank got lost in the cave because it was so big with twists and turns, others say he died because he had no wife, yet one says. . . .the Bear ate him. All of these possibilities could be true, seen as how the following day, people were lined up at his lumber shop awaiting their lumber for their fires. And when they never got it, they became suspicious of what might have happened to poor, old Hank.
So, a group of young girls and guys did a little search paty to find Old Hank, and after twenty days, they finally found his remains. His left side was opened, and the teeth marks strangely matched the ones of the long dead, dreaded, Bear. . . . .
