T'Challa promises to pass along my message to Bucky."We will be available to help should you need it, White Fox." I chuckle.
"Thanks, T'Challa." I reply before hanging up. Just as I went to join the others, I notice Strange and Wong acting weird. "What's up?" I ask, sliding my phone into my back pocket.
"They have come to take the stone." Dr. Strange answers before walking outside. Bruce, dad, and I share a look before following.
"Where is the rest of the team? We should call them. Get them ready." Bruce states as we continue following Strange.
"We really need to catch you up." My dad says.
"Yeah, there is no team. The band broke up while you were gone. Too many wrong opinions." I say, a dig to my dad.
"Not wrong... just not fully correct." Dad argues.
"So...wrong." I state in a matter-of-fact tone. My dad sends daggers with his eyes.
"If Thanos needs all six, why don't we just stick this one down a garbage disposal?" My dad asks after a moment.
"No can do." Strange answers.
"We swore an oath to protect the Time Stone with our lives." Wong adds.
"And I swore off dairy... but then Ben & Jerry's named a flavor after me, so..."
"Stark Raving Hazelnuts," says Strange.
"Not bad."
"A bit chalky." I laugh.
"A Hunk of Hulk of Burning Fudge is our favorite." Wong smiles. I laugh and nudge Wong.
"Mine, too, dude!"
"Wait, that's a thing?" Bruce asks, really behind on the things that have happened. My dad turns to face Strange.
"What is your job exactly, except to make balloon animals?"
"Protecting your reality, douchebag." I cackle, loudly.
"He called you a douchebag." I continue laughing. "I so want that as a ringtone!"
"Doesn't Vision have one of those Infinity Stones in his head?" Bruce asks. "Vision is out there somewhere with the Mind Stone, and we have to find him now."
"Yeah, that's the thing," My dad says, pacing away.
"What do you mean?" Bruce asks.
"Two weeks ago, Vision turned off his transponder. He's offline."
"What?!" My dad nods his head. "You lost another super-bot?!" I ask, yelling.
"I didn't lose him. He's more than that. He's evolving."
"Well, who could find Vision, then?" Strange asks.
"Shit." My dad says just above a whisper. His hands go into his pocket and turns around to look at us. "Probably Steve Rogers."
"Tony, listen to me." Bruce begins. "Thor is gone. Thanos is coming. It doesn't matter who you're talking to or not."
As we are all bickering, a large crowd of people starting running past us. We all turn to face the direction they are running from. Two alien looking things are coming down the street.
"Hear me, and rejoice. You are about to die at the hand of the children of Thanos. Be thankful, that your meaningless lives are now contributed to the balance..." The smaller of the two threatens. My dad takes a few steps forward.
"I'm sorry. Earth is close today. So pack it up, and get out of here."
"Stonekeeper, does this chattering animal speak for you?" The crypt keeper looking alien asks.
