I don't mean to be an amateur
Or sound inconsiderate
By dishing out this intriguing issue
But when they said
' the pain eventually dies and fades away '
' time heal all wounds '
They lied
They we're not being honest
They simply wanted to protect there dignity
The truth is
The pain of losing your beloved one
never fades into nothingness
The pain never leave our hearts with each and every tear drop,
Though we wish it does
Time does not heal all wounds
Nor
the pain that consumed us
But
With time we learn to live with the pain
We learn to smile and laugh with the pain
Hidden in the depths of our hearts
Truth be told the pain never really dies.
