Like a candle
I burn,
I give you light
I burn,
I give out my beautiful incense
The one that relaxes you on day's of destress
I burn,
Losing myself
I burn
Till I can't recognize the person I've become
All for what? All for him
All in the name of love knows no pain
Love endures all
I burn
Sitting here, patiently waiting for him
To put me out
Be saved in his Pam's
The way I've been saving myself in poems
I burn
Till I can't no more
I burn
Till my existence is swept off
His mind
Like a candle
My worth was never recognized
For I was never the first,
Nor will I be the last,
Till won't be long
Before he picks up another candle
To burn,
Burn for him.
