"Severus said you wanted to talk." Lucius said as he got on the bed beside Tom after placing the baby monitor on the bedside table.
"Yes I wanted to talk. This is very important. Please don't be angry at me that I didn't tell you." Harry said as he sat down on the recliner.
"Well then go ahead." Severus mumbled from where he sat beside the window.
Harry stared at Lucius for awhile before looking away from him. He felt like Lucius knew where the conversation will go. He was the one that had been in the Potter library for the longest. He knew the difference between royal and just a simple lord. Lucius was good at figuring things out. All of them were good at different things.
Tom could strategize quickly if it mattered to him, but he probably will not be able to notice if a betrayer is in his presence. He wouldn't know if someone was a spy and subtlety wasn't his thing. His knowledge goes a long way in spells though. And he is also very good at wandless magic.
Severus was good at potions and he could lie. Harry had noticed that Severus was a very good liar. Even wolves with a strong sense of smell wouldn't be able to tell if he was lieing or not. And wolves always know what someone is feeling because of their scent and the beat of their heart. He knew this because he had lied to Molly about all sorts of things. And he will say that Lily is weird and everything but he likes the girl. And then his emotions are always hidden, he doesn't show what he is feeling. He could notice a few things but he wasn't Lucius that he will tell you the whole biography of a person by just their behavior.
And then Lucius is always taking in his surroundings. He works more with his mind then anything. He could probably take everything from Harry with just one sign on a paper. Lucius is the most trusted and also the one that knows everything about the Potter household. He had wanted his child and his safety, so he secured his place by doing a few things. In front of people he acts like he cares for everyone, but deep inside he knows he is only nice to people for his own good. Lucius is the selfish one, but no one seems to suspect Lucius as the one who will leave if it meant his safety. He only cares for a number of people, and that being his children, his mates and himself, and maybe also Neville.
"I am not just a simple lord. I am the heir of the gryffindor kingdom. Well I am already king. They thought I will not be a good enough king and I was pushed aside. But now they want me, and I do want to go back. But I want your say in it." Harry said and Tom sat up from his lying position on the bed and stared at him for awhile.
"I don't know what to say." He said after awhile of just staring into Harry's eyes.
"You are too brash to be a king." Severus drawled out, plain out insulting Harry.
"Are you insinuating that I can't be a good king?" Harry asked, offended by Severus.
"Yes. I don't think you can be a ruler with all that stupid bad decision making. You have made Lucius sad way too many times." Severus said and Harry stood up from his seat. He did not know why exactly but his inner animal wanted to show authority.
But Severus was just amused by it cause having Harry stand before him while he sits, gives him a thrill of him being in authority of Harry to get him to stand up.
"Well we are there so we can help him. We are smart enough to make good decisions." Tom defended his alpha while getting up from the bed. Lucius just stared at them, enjoying watching them argue.
"We are slytherin' and he is a gryffindor." Severus said and Harry seemed to misunderstand. Lucius knew what was going through the olders and head and he was very amused because right after Severus said that, Harry's face twisted into one of shock.
