CHAPTER 20

Cedric stood near Hayden as he got onto the horse. Hayden glared at him after he got onto the horse and kicked out his leg and kicked Cedric in the chest. Cedric moved and hissed in pain and he looked down at the steel toed boots on his mates feet.

"See, I am just fine. I don't need you to fret over me." Hayden grumbled as his horse started to trot. Cedric quickly got onto his horse and Sarah chuckled at her love struck friends behavior. Cedric did not want to leave Hayden's side after he was told that Hayden was with child.

They had decided to leave this morning after sending a short letter to Draco, explaining how Lucius had gotten out of 'No Mans Land' with someone with him. They all were super glad that Lucius was safe, they had felt a strange connection to him. The connection was most likely there because of Lucius being an elf.

"I am sorry. It's in my instinct to protect and provide. And I can't resist but want to spoil you. I know you are very independent, but let me take care of you during the duration of the pregnancy." Cedric said and Hayden looked at him as for awhile and then turned back around to face the front with a sigh of frustration.

"Don't think of me as incapable. After the pregnancy, it will all be the same again. I am a tracker and a warrior of the hufflepuff kingdom, and I don't want to give that up." Hayden said and Cedric smile.

"I will never make you give that up." Cedric said with a smile and Sarah furrowed her eyebrows as a thought crossed her mind.

"Cedric, have you ever thought about becoming a stay-at-home dad. Hayden is going to return to his duties while you still have a lot of time left for you to actually become king, plus your duties are going to be cut out with your other brothers so you wouldn't have a lot of work." Sarah said with a thoughtful look on her face. Cedric and Hayden became silent.

Cedric had never thought about that. There was always people saying that when Hayden will get pregnant, he will give up everything to raise their child, but Cedric had never believed it because he knew Hayden truly belonged in the slytherin kingdom. Hayden had visited Hogwarts and had been sorted into slytherin but he had stayed with his family in hufflepuff but he had been welcomed into the slytherin kingdom with open arms. Hayden was a late bloomer and almost everyone had thought that he would be an alpha and that's the reason that he had went to Hogwarts. But when it was made obvious that he was an omega at the age of thirteen (13) he was belittled and kicked out of Hogwarts. Hayden had been traumatized. The slytherins had done their best to keep him safe and they succeeded to an extent, but they couldn't hide his identity and he was kicked out after a few alphas found him, unattended and had beat him up and they had planned to force him into having sex with them, but the slytherins got there and they had cursed every single alpha that was there.

In Hogwarts, alphas from all four kingdoms go there, to see which kingdom they belong in. Usually they stay in the kingdom they were in from the start, but some change. Sometimes the alphas just go there to see where they belong and then go to another school, actually many alphas from hufflepuff and slytherin do that. They will go to schools in their kingdoms or schools that do intermingle. But there are only two schools that intermingle with other kingdoms and the kingdoms matching is gryffindor with ravenclaw and hufflepuff with slytherin.

Hayden looked back at Cedric expectantly but quickly looked away when he noticed that Cedric was already looking at him. Hayden thought that maybe Cedric staying with their child will be for the best. He knew Cedric could take care of their child, hs trusted the older.

'Maybe for him I can do that. I think it would be the best for both of us.' Cedric thought to himself while looking at his mate.

"I think I should become a stay at home dad. It will be the best for Hayden and I." Cedric said and Hayden smiled.
