CHAPTER 34

It had been two months since Harry had disappeared of into thin air. Two long months. It had changed quite a lot for them all. They had learned to survive without each other to make sure that if one fell, the other will catch. They knew they had to pick themselves up if they did fall.

Harry enjoyed himself. He did miss his mates but he wanted to take a break from everything. But now he knew he had to go back.

He missed his mates too much. But first he would do one last thing before going back. He would attend an alphas ball. He had always enjoyed himself at these balls when he was younger cause omegas from all around will be there as performers and some were there to even be sold of to their compatible alphas. At these balls, you had no mate.

Every alpha that was there would be considered mateless in that room. But this ball was like a business party with some spice in it. He was required to be there, all alphas were required to be there actually. But no mates were allowed. If someone did want to bring their omega then that omega would be free to be touched and grouped by other alphas.

"So I hope you have a good life from here on my friend. We part from this moment on. We were strangers and we are to become strangers again but with memories. Goodbye my friend." Alex said, giving him a hug. He knew he wasn't going to meet them again but he wasn't sad. He knew he was going to go his own path one or another day. And it was time for him to leave to his own path now. They all were separating, looking for homes wherever they could find one.

"Thank you for helping me enjoy these two months." He said and Alex smiled, gave him a nod and then walked away.

Harry looked back to his bed and at the suit that was layed out. His lips twitched into a smile as he thought back to how Lucius will help him get in a suit and that one time Lucius had slipped on his suit for 'research' and he had literally drowned in it.

He went to ghe small bathroom and got to washing up. He will go back to his mates after the ball.

"Antonin." Lucius whined as the alpha pulled him out of his chair.

Antonin had moved from the skytherin kingdom and had started to help him. He had become his personal assistant of sorts. Antonin wanted to protect Lucius and he could do that by staying next to him. He wanted to make sure that the younger was safe at all times.

"You need to eat." Antonin said, dragging him over to the couch, pushing him on the it and then handing him his soup noodles with some fried chicken and his soda.

"Thank you for the food. Have you eaten?" Lucius asked, leaning back into the couch and slurping down some of the noodles.

"Yes, I have eaten." Antonin said, going to Lucius's desk and closing the file and putting away his quils away. He stored away the stamp and then started to walk towards the door.

"I am gonna be going to my room now. You should also retreat to your room." Antonin mumbled sleepily and Luvius nodded with a soft smile.

"Goodnight. You should probably get your things ready to leave for the alpha ball Antonin. You can come in late tomorrow." Lucius said after he quickly gulped down his food.

Lucius just sat there on the couch after he had finished his food. The food containers had been taken away by the house elves awhile back. Lucius wiped away his tears, staring at the the place behind the desk, a place where Harry used to sit and do work. He had taken the place of king, which meant he was also in charge of the office.

Lucius was glad that he knew about business and finance. He wouldn't have been able to handle the kingdom if not for his extra studying. He had gotten degrees in different things because he was bored.
