CHAPTER 45

"Aliana, pay attention." Severus snapped, snatching the vial of chastity potion from Aliana's hands. The omega had almost let go of it.

"Sorry Severus. I have just been lost in my thoughts." The omega said, looking down at her hands in shame. She quickly got back to stocking the shelves.

"Well what is om your mind then?" Severus asked, slamming the vial at its correct place. He grit his teeth together as he fixed the shelves.

"Shadow and I have been thinking of relocating to the Slytherin kingdom with the children. She thinks that working at the apothecary is putting a strain on me. And well with what is going on in the Gryffindor kingdom, we just do not feel like we can stay here any longer. And Shadow has to be with Draco to overlook his dueling practices." She whispered, wiping the vial before she placed it on its shelve.

Severus sighed. There were many people that were happy for having a new queen that seems so powerful. They believe that Gerry would bring them to greatness, forgetting that an omega led them for a whole two months without a king. Forgetting that an omega looked over all the laws before they were introduced to them all. That under an omega they had flourished.

And now there was an omega with powers unknown to them. But they knew that those powers were a lot. They just didn't know that Lucius lead them with politics and not his powers. He used skills over things he was born to do. He had the skills and characteristics of being a leader, he was able to withhold his position even in the most political debates because he knew how to weave his way.

They couldn't be sure that Gerry could do that.

What angered Severus the most was that, this kingdom was refusing to accept Lucius but they accepted Gerry with open arms. And that brat doesn't even know why he was accepted so easily. He was accepted because Lucius built a path that Gerry could just ride over it with his horse.

"Well there are other employees here so it would not put a strain on me or anyone so it's fine. And you do need to spend more time with your family and have your own life now and not just slave away, working under me at this apothecary. I hope you live a happy life." Severus said, grabbing a potion that could help the body heal after child loss.

He had made this potion specifically for Lucius the first time he experienced a miscarriage. Now it was normal to have it in their home and it was also sold regularly at the apothecary. They never really talked about it because it made Lucius cry even more. Lucius hated the feel of losing a child, especially taking this potion because he would bleed out to remove the child's form from his womb. He would bleed terribly during this time. But they had to do this because if they did not then it was possible for the womb to have further damage and the child's dead body to cause infections and all sorts of problems.

"I will miss you." Aliana whispered, tears springing to her eyes. Severus turned to look at her and looked at her confusedly.

"Well somethings wrong with you for to be missing me." Severus grumbled, hesitantly patting her on the head and then turning and dragging the trolley behind him.

"I don't want to go." She whispered, sniffling.

"Then don't." Severus said, opening the cash box to look at all the money that was in there.

"Well not everyone is immortal like you Severus. You have a lot of time before you to spend time with your family. And well I am stepping closer to death. I want to spend time with my family. Even though I am looking at at least another five decades, I am getting scared of my alpha getting bored of me." She said and and Severus felt a tightening in his heart.

"Are you trying to jab at me cause damn that hurts." Severus huffed, looking up towards the door when he heard a small jingle of bells. He watched the customer enter and immediately one of his employees was helping them in finding them what they needed.
