"Long day!" I exclaimed when we went back from another tour. Magkasama kami ni Rex Niccolo sa mga activities buong araw. Kung pagod ako, sa tingin ko mas pagod siya. He's way more adventurous than me. I passed on some activity while he willingly did anything he wanted to try tulad ng diving at snorkeling. Hindi ako masyadong magaling lumangoy kaya hindi ko iyon sinubukan.

Agad akong nag-indian sit sa lounger sa harap ng villa ko. Sumunod siya at naupo rin sa katabing lounger.

"Diyan ka lang?" tanong ko. Hindi ko alam kung saan ang villa niya pero balak pa yatang tumambay dito sa akin.

"I'll stay for a while," sagot niya at binaling na ang tingin sa camera ko na hawak niya. He asked for it. Kahit hindi naman ako nagsasabing kuhanan niya ako ng picture, kapag may pagkakataon ay ginagawa niya. Some are planned, some are candid. I don't know which ones look better. Hindi ko pa natitingnan.

In return, I have a lot of film photos of him, too. Most are stolen shots because if I ask him to smile or pose for it, wala naman siyang ginagawa. Ako pa ang tinitingnan imbes na ang camera. So, I figured it's better to just sneakily take a photo. Gwapo naman siya kahit anong anggulo, e.

Naalala ko tuloy iyong babae na lumapit sa kanya kagabi. Nakasabay namin siya sa lagoon tour kanina. It's safe to assume that she wasn't being discreet while gawking at Rex Niccolo. Kaunti na lang iisipin ko na mas na-eenjoy niya na panoorin si Rex Niccolo kaysa sa tanawin. Dude doesn't even notice. Ako na 'yong nakakaramdam ng pagkailang para sa kanya, e.

"The girl from last night was all eyes on you during the tour. Hindi mo ba type 'yon? She has the same features as Anne, your ex-whatever," I said, still unsure if Anne was his ex-fling, ex-girlfriend or what.

"What?" he replied lazily. He's busy browsing the pictures.

"She's tall and gorgeous like Anne. You should've talked to her. Mukha namang mabait."

Hindi siya nagsalita kaya nagpatuloy ako.

"Bagay nga sa'yo ang matangkad din. You're freakishly tall. If you date model-like girls, both of you would be very attractive to look at. Like when Kuya Mikael dated a model slash beauty queen. They looked so good together 'cause they're both tall."

"Where are you going with this?" His attention is finally on me.

"Just pointing out what happened earlier and what I think about you dating tall women."

"Uh-huh. And what are your thoughts about it?"

Napairap ako. "I just said it! Hindi ka naman nakikinig sa sinabi ko."

"Sorry. I stopped listening when you said I should've talked to the girl."

I scoffed. "Wow! And you said you value everything I say! Niloloko mo lang ako, e. Hindi ka naman nakikinig."

"Not when it's about pushing me to pursue someone," agap niya.

"I'm not pushing you to pursue her! Just... suggesting to talk to her. Something like that..."

I caught him smirking, looking so pleased that I might have lost in this small argument.

"Because of her features, okay? That's my basis."

"Sa tingin mo gusto ko ang mga ganoon?"

"Yup," mabilis kong sagot.

I felt his slight disagreement. "Really..."

"Why not? Hindi ba ganoon naman talaga? Name one of your exes and I'll check. For sure she falls under the same category."

Umiling siya at parang hindi gusto na ito ang pinag-uusapan naming dalawa. I don't think we'll run out of topics to talk about but this one is just so intriguing. Lalo pa ngayon na nagpapahayag siya ng hindi pagkakagusto. It just made me more interested!
