PURVI: (Aaj ke din ka toh hamein hamesha se intezar rehta hai. Ek kaam karte hain, hum jaldi se tayar ho jaate hai aur jaakar mandir mein abhishek kar aate hai. Warna bheed ho gayi toh shaati se pooja bhi nahi kar payenge. She gets up to get ready.)
(The scene shifts to Haveli where Virendra comes out from his room. He sees all the servant running here & there with boxes & stuffs. He looks little dazed. Just then he sees Prakashi & stops her.)
VIRENDRA: Maa yo ke subhah subhah se bhaag daud macha rakhi hai sabne. Ke ho raha yaha ?
Prakashi: Mujhe pata tha tu bhool gaya hoga. Aaj teej hai naa. Ussi ki tayari ho rahi. Ye saara saaman mandir jayega. Aur iss saal tu bhi aa raha pooja mein.
VIRENDRA: Maa, tu jaanti hai, manne yo sab teej tyohar naa pasand hai. Sakshi ke jaane ke baad manne ye sab chod diya hai. Aap log jao. Aur waise bhi har saal aap hi log to jaate ho, toh iss saal ke khas baat hai. Manne naa jana hai kahin. Main bacchon ke paas hokar ata hun. Dekhta hun ki wo tayar hue ya naa. Aata hun.
Prakashi: Arre Virendra sunn toh............
(Virendra goes inside Juhi Manas room. He sees them hiding their faces inside their blanket. He sees them, smiles & says in a tough tone.)
VIRENDRA: Oyee, dono badmash !! Manne pata hai ki tum dono uth chuke ho, chalo, bahar nikalo aur tayar ho jao jaldi. Aaj mandir jana hai tum logo ko sabke saath.
Juhi & Manas: (together in one tone) Hum mandir tabhi jayenge jab aao hamare saath iss baar mandir chaloge. Warna hum bhi nahi jayenge.
VIRENDRA: Yo kya zid kar rahe ho tum log achanak se. Har saal toh jaate ho naa akele, tab iss saal ke bhoot sawar ho raha tum dono pe. Chalo utho, aur tayar ho, warna agar ye log bhi chale gaye toh rote reh jana yhi. (Virendra leaves the room. Juhi & Manas get up & feel sad.)
(Virendra is seen sitting inside his room; busy with some files work when he heard Juhi & Manas voice. He got up & went near the window. He saw both of them sitting inside the car. Just then Juhi looked up & saw Virendra. He waved her bye which she ignored sadly & the car went away. Virendra comes back near the table; gave a second thought & opened the cupboard.
Purvi was lost in the thought that she has nothing to wear on teej. She opened the tin box kept at the corner & looked for something to wear.)
(These scenes are running simultaneously. Both Purvi & Virendra are getting ready for the mandir.
Purvi was wearing her mother's saree in green color which she has drapped like a lehnga.
Virendra wore a light green kurta with dark color sadri.
She wore the matching green color bangles which she has brought from the mela last night. He wore the matching light pagdi on his head.
Keeping her hair open, she tucked one of the side with a pin. Keeping the tough look; he adjusted his mustache.
They both looked themselves in the mirror.
Completing the whole look she wore the same small jhumke which she had worn yesterday & applied bindi on her forehead. He wore his bali in the ear & competed his look with a royal golden watch.
Purvi was looking all dazzled in the full attair. Virendra looked up in the mirror & glared himself. A dull lehnga which was quite old was also glowing on her body. The green kurta was all shining on him. He adjusted his pagdi & chinned up. That pride was all glowing on his face. A tint of glow was making her even more beautiful.
