This is going to be the last chapter, but I will be making a sequel, so don't worry! :D

Oh, and I know this has all been in Luke's POV, but this chapter will be different, you'll see why :P

[Ollie's POV]

It was the weekend, and I was going to Starbucks to get my coffee before I headed to work. I hated having a weekend job, but it was necessary for money to do pretty much anything...

I stepped in and walked to the counter, ordering my usual latte. While I waited I looked around, like usual. My morning routine was pretty dull so I tended to people-watch while I waited.

Today I noticed a new addition to the morning Starbuckers. Connor was sat at a table, on his own, staring at his cup. I was handed my drink and I went over to him, rather than taking it out and walking to work like I usually would. I'll get the bus...

'Hey.' I started, lamely, as I stood opposite him.

'Hey...' He replied, sounding less than enthused.

'Anyone sitting here?' I asked, gesturing to the seat I was stood next to.

'Knock yourself out.' He told me, so I sat down.

'So, why the long face?' I asked.

'Meh. Stuff.' He answered. 'Although I don't see why you care.' He looked up at me at that point, a pain in his eyes I'd never seen before, and, to my surprise, I had the urge to stop that pain, whatever the cost.

'I care because I'm a caring person...' I replied simply, though that's not why I cared at all. I wanted to know what was going on with Luke, in all honesty, but now I saw how hurt Connor was, I thought it was my turn to cheer someone up.

'Are you?' He asked.

'I'd like to think so.' I replied. 'So what's bothering you?'

'It's not your concern.' He told me.

'Isn't it?' I asked.

'Well... I don't think it is.'

'It's Luke isn't it?'

'How did you know?'

'Kerry.' I replied simply. 'She knows everything.'

'Yeah... That's true.' He smiled at me, it was faint, but it was there.

'So. What do you say I call in sick to work and spend the day cheering you up?'

'I'd say no.'

'Why's that?'

'Because work is more important.'

'Ha! You sound like the government. Money's more important than people. No. I'm going to call in now, and I'm going to spend the rest of the day making sure you don't spiral back down into melodramatic depression.' I told him. 'Because no one likes a depressed jock. Normal jocks are bad enough.' I winked, and he laughed, just a little.

'Well, you're doing well so far.' He sighed, conceding. 'Fine. What harm can come of today?'

'None.' I promised him. 'Now I'll be right back.' I told him, and headed outside to phone work and tell them I wouldn't be in. Luckily, my boss was a very lenient woman, who didn't care how often I called in sick, as long as it was less than 5 days in 3 months, any more and she'd deduct each day from my salary.

I headed back into Starbucks and brought Connor outside. 'So. What would you like to do?' I asked him.

'I thought you had a plan.' He replied.
