Okay chapter 8 people. I started this on my phone so don't blame me if it sucks. Blame my blackberry XD. Anyway, I'm hoping I can do pretty well, cause I have conned someone into reading my stuff in exchange for me modelling for their photography project... I'm diabolical aren't I? XD

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The car ride to school was pretty quiet. I was still thinking about the previous night. What the hell was Connor doing? And he wasn't even regretting it! Was he?

Fuck, what if he was regretting it?

What's going on!?!?!?

I clasped my hands to my temples and sat squeezing my head trying to force the thoughts ought of my mind or into some sensible answer.

Ollie looked at me. 'Something wrong?' He asked me, turning his gaze back to the road.

'Trying to stop myself from over-thinking every tiny little thing.' I explained.

'Ohh. Care to elaborate?' He smiled reassuringly at me, before looking at the road again.

'Would you mind if I didn't? It's just I don't know myself and it might cause meaningless problems between us.'

Ollie sighed. 'Now you're gonna have me wondering. If it's to do with us then please just tell me.'

'Well... Umm... You know Connor?'

'You're step-brother?'

'Yeah... Well... Ummm... I... Umm...'

Ollie nearly crashed the car. 'Jesus! That's your step-brother!'

'Ollie calm down. I might like him a teeny bit is all. It doesn't matter, he's straight anyway... Or at least I think he is.'

'What's that supposed to mean? And please be honest. I don't want any more heart attacks.' He sounded pissed... Very pissed.

'Well he kinda kept me warm last night.'

'By?'

'Hugging me...'

'That's... Not ideal, but it's not exactly the worst thing either.'

I dropped my head an stared at my feet.

'Luke? What's wrong?' His voice was softer now, more worried than angry.

I looked at him, tears forming in my eyes but I refused to let them escape. 'You hate me don't you?' I asked him. 'You're disgusted by me...' I didn't dare continue voicing my thoughts for fear that they were true.

He laughed. He actually laughed. 'Luke, you're such an idiot. Of course I don't hate you! I don't think I could hate you. I'm not sure it would be physically possible.' He began driving with one hand and grabbed my hand with the other. 'Luke, no matter what happens, I will always be here, even if I end up as your friend, rather than anything more.'

'I don't deserve you.' I laughed sadly.

'Don't say that.' Ollie said, sharply. 'You deserve everything you could possibly want and more. You're an amazing guy Luke. So what if your step-brother keeps you warm at night. It should be my job, but if I'm not there at least you aren't cold.' He laughed. 'When are you getting your own room?'

'God knows.' I sighed. 'First Lily's getting the next room that's renovated, and then me. So probably a few weeks?'

'How big are these rooms!?' Ollie shouted, surprised.

'Ummm... Ollie? There all like the size of the living room.'

'Jesus Christ!' He yelled.

I laughed. 'What? I have a rich step-dad. So sue me.' I laughed.
