'Pleeeeeeeaaaaasssseeee?' He whined, and I laughed.

I held up my hands in defeat. 'Fine!' I laughed. 'We can watch Madagascar 3.'

He smiled and hugged me. 'Thank you!' He laughed and we walked over to buy our tickets.

'Two tickets for madagascar 3 please.' I told the guy behind the counter. He looked at us both, 17 year olds wanting to watch a kids movie, shrugged to himself and handed the 2 tickets over in exchange for the money.

I turned to Ollie and smiled. 'You're such a kid.' I chuckled, before grabbing his hand and walking into the cinema.

We were directed to a theatre and sat down on the middle row. That way we were nowhere near the infamous back row and still had a pretty good view.

We watched the movie while holding hands, and though it was a kids movie, I was pretty into it. I'd already seen madagascar 1 and 2, thanks to Andrew, and so madagascar 3 was pretty good to watch.

Once the movie had finished we stepped outside into the cold crisp air. 'Why is it so cold here? It's only september.' I moaned.

'Wait until December.' Ollie laughed.

'You would laugh. You just wanna constantly be hugging and stuff and blame it on the fact that you need to keep warm.' I winked at him and we both laughed.

I pulled him to a little café to eat and have a warm drink before heading home.

'So. What should we do for our next date?' I asked him.

'Who said there was gonna be a next date?' He asked, with a sly smile.

'Ummm... I did?' I asked with a laugh.

He smiled at me, and reached across the table for my hand, intertwining our fingers. 'I think our next date should be at an ice rink.'

I snorted. 'You think I can skate?'

'No. That's why I want it at an ice rink.' He laughed. 'It'd be great to see you as vulnerable when everywhere else you're more confident than I am.'

I laughed. 'If only you'd have known me a few years ago.'

'Why?'

'I wasn't exactly the most popular kid in school in England. It took me a few years to build a reputation worth saving. Until I had managed to worm my way into popularity I was the nerd. I was constantly bullied, I had very few friends, and far too many enemies. I was a bumbling wreck with no self-esteem. I've came a long way in the last few years.'

'That you have.' Came a voice from behind me.

I turned and looked at the girl I would move the Earth for.

'What are you doing here?' I asked, excitement filling my voice.

She sat down next to me. 'Not a good reason, I'm afraid.' I heard sadness colouring her tone. Oh no.

'What happened, Lily?' I asked her.

'My parents. They... They couldn't deal with me. They kicked me out. I had nowhere to go so I called Aunt Lizzie and she told me you'd moved to America, but you guys are my only family so my parents, who wanted rid of me so badly, paid for the ticket to get me over here. I'll be sleeping on the sofa until one of the rooms is finished, but I don't mind.'
