Okay here's chapter 7. It's probably gonna suck cause I'm pretty ill, but I hope it's up to some sort of standard. Pic to the side is of Lily :)

I took Andrew upstairs to bed. It seemed he refused to go to bed until I got home to tuck him in. Apparently he kicked up a fuss about it so my parents let him stay up until I got home.
It was around 11pm now, so it was long past his usual bedtime.
I carried him up the stairs and placed him gently in his bed, pulling his covers over him and tucking him in.
He looked at me with big brown eyes and waited for me to sing his song. So I did.
'Close your eyes,
go to sleep
don't make a sound,
not a peep,
and you'll hear your protectors calling.
They call out to you,
I promise you it's true,
They're looking out for you tonight.
Go to sleep little brother,
or I shall call mother,
and she'll tell you it's true.
You're guardians are waiting,
for you are worth saving,
they're watching over you tonight.
They call out to you,
I promise you it's true,
they're looking out for you tonight.'
By the time I got to the end, Andrew was fast asleep. I stood up slowly, kissed his forehead, and walked out of the bedroom door, quietly closing it behind me.
I headed downstairs and plopped myself on one of the sofas in the living room.
'Ahem.' My mother cleared her throat. Ohhhh no. 'Bed. Now.'
'But it's only 11!' I complained.
'You have school in the morning. You didn't get to bed very early last night, or should I say this morning? So go. Now. Bed.'
I sighed and stood up. 'Fine. Whatever.' I made my way to Connor's room and sat down on my bed.
There was a knock on the door. 'If that's mum, go away, I'm trying to get an early night.'
'It's Lily.'
'Oh, then come in.'
She laughed as she came in. 'Sleeping fully clothed and sitting up, that's a new one.' She laughed.
'Meh. My mum likes to think I do what she tells me.' I winked at Lily and she giggled. 'Anyway, why are you in Connor's room, exactly?'
'I wondered why there were two beds...' She mused. 'Anyway, I just came to ask what's going on with Ollie.'
'Huh? What do you mean by that?'
'You were lying tonight.'
'Was I?' I raised an eyebrow.
'I know when you are lying, Luke. I've known you better than you've known yourself for a long time. Now tell me why you're leading him on.'
'I'm not!' I protested.
