Bang. Bang. Bang. "Wake up, you two!" Ashley's voice boomed from outside Zeiden and Marcello's bedroom door.
Little did she know, that Marcello hadn't let Zeiden sleep all night, even though it was their wedding today.
Marcello lifted his head from Zeiden's neck after he was interrupted by the third time. "I'm going to kill someone," he growled.
Zeiden chuckled and pushed Marcello off his body. "We're going to be late if we don't get up now," he said rolling off the mattress and onto his feet.
Marcello laid back when he caught the glint of the golden band on Zeiden's finger. He had put that ring on Zeiden after they killed Aziel and burned his body in the basement of this manor. Adrik was adamant to burn him and wash away the ashes. Not that Marcello had a problem with that, although he was more than in favour of burning the asshole alive, but whatever.
Pushing off the bed himself, Marcello followed Zeiden into the shower and spent his sweet time with him, because after they unlocked that bedroom door, the pack members were going to separate them for the rest of the evening.
The wedding preparations were in full glory around the property. Ashley had decorated the entire house inside and out for all the guests, that still had to arrive. Marcello didn't know that he would be so involved in the preparations. He actually cared that the candles matched the white backdrop of the table cloth and the vases with white roses. Ashley mostly took charge from there on and Rosalie was even more happy to do it with her. Lazarus was helpful too but Isaiah, Adrik just stayed out of it all. Justin and Ronin were all about the food and were busy handling the catering for tonight, especially the open bar.
Zeiden let the family handle it too, the only thing he cared about was what tuxedo he was going to wear tonight. Marcello had already prepared that for his mate, because he wanted to do everything for Zeiden and their wedding. So, Marcello had gone out with Percy to buy matching tuxedos for tonight's ceremony.
Marcello continued to shower as Zeiden left to shave, which Marcello had already done last night because he knew they'd wake up late. The ceremony was held at midnight when the full moon was at its peak, so that Maya blessed the ritual. So, they still had a lot of time ahead of them. But when there was a party like this, time was never enough to prepare for everything.
"Hurry up, Marcello," said Zeiden as he rushed out of the bathroom.
Marcello stayed under the hot water just a minute longer to gather himself. Today was the day that his life was going to be unified with Zeiden. That definitely made a man nervous and slip on his own heart.
Marcello abruptly shut the knob off stopping the water and his thoughts. He grabbed the towel and stepped out of the shower. He went back to the room where Zeiden put on clothes and grabbed his suit from the closet, it was still wrapped up so it wouldn't wrinkle or fold.
