AFTER HER CONFESSIONS with Loki, Y/n sat in her room, book in hand as she read in silence. After a couple minutes, the sound of a knock was heard at her door. Closing her book after making sure she left it on the same page, she walks over to the doors of her room, revealing Loki on the other side.
"Hello, love." Loki greets softly.
"Hello." Y/n greets back, moving aside to let him in.
Loki does so, giving her a small, grateful smile before glancing around her room. He hadn't been in here in a while. After looking around, he slowly seats himself on the end of her bed, where Y/n takes a spot beside him, her e/c eyes on him, watching as he nervously plays with his fingers.
"Are you alright, Loki?" Y/n questions in a gentle tone.
Loki nods a little. "Yes, love, I'm alright. I just wanted to see if you have thought about, you know, being my queen."
A soft sigh escapes Y/n. "Loki, I love you with all my heart... But I can't. I'm sorry, I can't be your queen."
"But... Why?" Loki asks, face saddening.
"It's just... It's all so much, and I never expected to be queen. At all. I just think... Maybe I'll stick to my own title for the time being." Y/n admits. She watches as Loki's face becomes sad. "Loki, I'm really sorry. I am. I didn't mean to upset you, I just--"
"No, no, love. It's fine." Loki assures, taking her hands in his. "We'll take things slow. How does that sound?"
Y/n let's out a breath. "It sounds wonderful."
Leaning forward, their lips meet, once again, halfway, moving together in sync. The Goddess raises a hand, placing it in his dark locks as the God puts his hands on her cheeks, thumb caressing them.
"There's something I have to show you." Loki whispers once they pull away.
"What is it?" Y/n questions.
Moving his head away from hers, he holds up his arm, both looking at it. Y/n's eyes go wide when it suddenly turns blue before she looks up at his face, only to gasp upon seeing the rest of him was also blue and his eyes were now red.
"You're a..." Y/n begins, trailing off.
"Frost Giant." Loki finishes, nodding as he goes back to his normal self. "I know."
"But, how?" Y/n asks, putting a hand on his cheek.
"My father is Laufey." Loki informs.
The God then proceeded to explain all about what Odin had told him in the vault the other day before she had walked in, seeing the king unconscious on the stairs. He then informed her on the plan he was making when he went to the Jotunheim and spoke with Laufey. He trusted her enough to not tell anyone, and maybe be on his side. Of course, Y/n loved him... but she knew this was wrong. She knew that they needed to bring Thor back somehow.
