The Goddess of Fidelity never thought she'd get to see outside of Asgard. She also never thought the God she grew to love would turn into the God he is now. However, now Y/n is an Avenger and grows stronger and stronger everyday. Little does she kno...

THE WHOLE ROOM was silent. Nothing could be heard, other than the soft footsteps of Steve as he walked into the room where Loki's cell used to be, seeing Tony standing a few feet away from him, gaze trained forward. Agent Phil Coulson was last seen in that exact room, lifeless as he was killed by the God of Mischief.
About an hour or so had passed since the attack happened and Thor, nor Bruce, were nowhere to be seen. And Loki had escaped. Y/n was somewhere inside of S.H.I.E.L.D., trying to figure out someway where Thor or Loki could have gone.
"Was he married?" Steve asks, breaking the silence.
Tony shakes his head. "No. There was a cellist, I think."
"I'm sorry. He seemed like a good man." Steve states.
"He was an idiot." Tony corrects.
"Why? For believing?" Steve questions.
"For taking on Loki alone." Tony replies.
"He was doing his job." Steve reminds.
Tony let's out a scoff. "He was out of his league. He should have waited. He should have..."
"Sometimes there isn't a way out, Tony." Steve tells the billionaire.
"Right, I've heard that before." Tony recalls as he starts to walk past the super soldier.
"Is this the first time you lost a soldier?" Steve asks.
"We are not soldiers." Tony sneers in response. "I'm not marching to Fury's fife."
"Neither am I. He's got the same blood on his hands that Loki does. But right now, we got to put that behind us and get this done. Loki needs a power source. If we can put together a list--" Steve starts.
"He made it personal." Tony cuts him off.
"That's not the point." Steve denies.
"That is the point. That's Loki's point. He hit us all right where we live. Why?" Tony questions.
"To tear us apart." Steve replies.
"Yeah, divide and conquer is great but he knows he has to take us out to win, right? That's what he wants. He wants to beat us, he wants to be seen doing it. He wants an audience." Tony informs.
Steve nods. "Right. I caught his act in Stuttgart."
"Yeah, that was just previews. This is opening night. And Loki, he's a full-tilt diva, right? He wants flowers, he wants parades. He wants a monument built to the skies with his name plastered--" Tony lists.
The billionaire, however, stops himself as the super soldier gives him a knowing look, both men thinking the exact same thing.
