NEW YORK CITY was crowded as it usually was. Civilians could be seen walking around as they kept themselves warm from the coolness of the city air. Construction could be seen all around in the busy city as the honks of car horns echoed throughout the air. Unlike back on Asgard, the sun was hiding behind the clouds as the sky didn't seem to want to be it's usual bright blue color, now being a light grey-like color that almost looked like the clouds.

On the streets of New York, the two Gods and Goddess could be seen standing all side by side with their arms crossed as they stared at the place that was once a building being torn down in front of them. While Thor and Y/n wore normal clothing, an umbrella in the God of Thunder's hand that had his hammer inside, Loki had decided to put on an all black suit to match his dark hair and his usual demeanor.

None of the three said anything as they continued to stare at the now destroyed building, one part of the brick wall holding a metal sign-like object that had the words SHADY ACRES CARE HOME in all big letters so people around would be able to read it. Just earlier, Skurge had brought the three through the Bifrost and that's how they found themselves here, the place where Loki had last left the king of Asgard.

"I swear I left him right here." Loki tells them.

Y/n raises a brow. "Right here on the sidewalk, or right there where the building is being demolished? Great planning."

"How was I supposed to know, love?" Loki asks with a shrug. "Can't see into the future. I'm not a witch."

"No? Then why do you dress like one?" Thor jokes, receiving a glare. "I can't believe you're alive. I saw you die. We both did. I mourned you, I cried for you."

"I'm honored." Loki replies, though it sounded like a question.

Their attention all went onto some girls that walked up to them, their excited gazes staring right at the two Avengers as they asked if they could get a picture, one of them holding her phone in her hand.

Excited and happy squeals leaving them that there were two Avengers in front of them and they were about to get a memorable picture with them, the girls came on either side of them as the Asgardians put smiles on their faces while they looked into the camera with the girls, Thor even putting up two fingers as a piece sign. Once they finished, they pulled away as the one girl with her phone looked down at the picture with excitement.

"Sorry to hear that Jane dumped you." One of the girls apologizes to the blonde before they walked off.

Thor scoffs. "She didn't dump me, you know. I dumped her. It was a mutual dumping."

Nodding a bit, Loki pats his shoulder. Placing her hands in the pockets of her jacket, Y/n lets out a sigh as she glances to the God of Mischief. She still wasn't an expert on some Midgard stuff, considering she didn't grow up there like the Midgardians, but she couldn't help but guess that's somewhat of what happened between her and Loki, even if it weren't 'mutual' like Thor and his ex-girlfriend.
